I signed up yesterday and just an hour ago I noticed that I got a newcomers discount, so I decided to take advantage of it.
I wanted to buy Braid Limbo and Psychonauts and I saw on the page for Braid that I would get 1.70 off any future purchase so I added 5.00 to my account since 2.99 + 1.79 + 0.89 = 5.67 minus the 1.70 I thought I'd get = 3.97
Only now it says that I need an additional 0.37 to finish the payment.
If someone could help me fast please I'd appreciate it because I got less than 15 minutes before the discount ends

EDIT: I have since posting this gone ahead and payed the additional 0.37, but I would still appreciate it if anyone could explain why I didn't get the 1.70 off any purchase discount, since I'm still new to the site and I'd like to learn more about the way it works.

The 1.70 will be added after you buy Braid. Buy Braid as one transaction, get the extra 1.70 in your account, then buy Limbo and Psychonauts.

Thanks for the reply.
I thought it work like that since it said "1.70 OFF ANY FUTURE PURCHASE" implying that I would get the discount in a different purchase, meaning that if I would buy anything together with Braid, it would not get the discount.
So I already did what you said, but for some reason it worked differently.
After looking at the receipt it said that "This order gives you € 0.30 back in free Wallet funds for any future purchase", so I guess it must have been affected by the 80% newcomers discount since 1.70 minus 80% = 0.34 which is 0.04 cent off but it seems to be the answer.
Do you think this is what happened?

Unfortunately yes. I thought the 1.70 you talked about was the amount mentioned in the checkout screen, not the game's screen. The amount you get back is basically the price you pay over the US price, and if a game is discounted, it is proportionally smaller. Sucks :(
