First I had Intel E2180, Ati Radeon HD2600Xt 512MB, 320GB HDD, and 2 gb Kingkston Ram.I dont know why i made that mistake to upgrade so old machine but my budget is so little that i can't buy all components and make middle PC.

Fiirst i bought E8500 and 2GB Ram for dual channel. Now i bought 530 wats Termaltake 80 bronze and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 275 second hand but when i receive card i saw that dual chanel panel is "little broken" and one of the two coolers missing two fins and the video card sound nasty.

I have one old amd processor with same cooler and i would try to replace broken fan.If anyone change cooler or change paste will be very good to tell me where to be careful when i open videocard!!!

The real question -If you in my shoes what will be your next step to upgrade?I know that motherboard and processor will be very nice but i have so much money and i don't want to buy motherboard with socket 775 lol

Thanks in advance folks i am going to play some "Heroes of the Storm" games and will continue with Path of Exile leveling my Kinetic blaster 3...2....1.....bye!!!

It is always depends on two things
1.) Why do you want to upgrade? (what games do you want to run)
2.) Your budget

Opening a graphics card varies quite a bit. I'd suggest googling and looking on YouTube for instructions for your particular card or one close to it. I opened a Radeon 5850 to clean and lube its fan and it was quite difficult, but I did manage it.
I fixed my Radeon 4870 by removing the small plastic on top of the fan and screwing out the fan and putting a large fan from a discarded power supply on top of the cooler with cable ties. The fan ran at full speed always :-( but fairly quiet fan so only a slight annoyance sometimes. That processor is old, yes, but not bad. Whether that pc is any good depends on what game(s) you want to play, of course.

the games you play don't even need an upgrade to play? i would say increased RAM is always nice for various reasons other than gaming performance.

and i have no idea how an old AMD CPU can still work without a working fan. don't those things catch fire when you turn off the fan?

lol assembled in malaysialand.

PS: oh ,you mean AMD videocard. i wouldn't try to fix my own videocard as long as the heatsink still works. you could just plug in another internal fan next to it. that's easy to do.

i have an 8500E proccessor and i can pretty much play anything without any hiccups. I played "Heroes of the Storm" smooth as butter too.
If I read correctly you have 2GB of RAM in your new system, so I´d definitely add 2 more GBs of RAM (basically you should have at least 4GB of ram total), the OS can easily eat up what you have now leaving you with a little amount for whatever else you want to run.
Also you already got the most important thing for games, the video card. Just make sure the heatsink on it has thermal paste in good condition and that the heatsink makes a tight contact with the chip and rests firmly.
In what respects to the fans, you can make do with a DIY solution as a last resort. A friend of mine attached a 120mm case fan to a videocard with heating issues and it was good to go. Always make a temperature test after you fiddle with it to check it runs inside the safe zone for that particular model though. Usually heating issues in videocards are due to lacking thermal paste, flimsy heatsink to chip contact, dusty heatsink or bad fans.

I wrote wrong mate i have 2x2GB witch are connected dual channel.I also play every free game, but mmo(i start to late mmo and i think is dead genre for me).The videocard is gtx275 with 2 coolers , but one of them missing 2 propelers and when i start PC and everything is cold in my house flying helicopters lol.

I need good motherboard and something better than 320GB hdd cause the games are so huge these times(just World of Tanks is may be 30GB and my friend told that Ships are same game but different mechanics)

I got most important part 530Wats Termaltake and my temperatures go down. With my "good" luck the day of the delivery was black friday and i saw that Termaltake 650/600 Wats was same price like mine.

Let me grab some money and i will be back for helping me choice new motherboard and whatever generation processor lol.
Peace guys, CuCuJambo!!!

PS:I can't see temperature on video card and i can't find where is my mistake.Use latest recommended driver and AIDA, HWiNFO64 and Speccy just show Vats whilie when i was with Ati Radeon HD2600XT pro 512MB i saw temperatures and even cooler(my video cooler one day soped working and i get one 80mm fan and with some glue i put it on radiator-i suprised how much this simple cooler down temperatures on my HD2600 :)
If anyone got same problem or know some tricks i will be back :)

Bulgaria must a magical place with helicopters flying indoors.

and try SpeedFan 4.51. it can't detect all videocards but it can check the temperature of your motherboard( and CPU and HDDs).

Thx for suggestion, but i had speed fan.I have 3 separate programs which can make this +bios+ASC5.My videocard needs 2x6pin conectors ,but i see these little black/light wires that i am sure some of them need to be put in motherboard-but i told you before that card my HD2600 shows temperatures in programs without any wire, just pci-e.
I have some problems with drivers or whatever cause i remembered first i download one dtiver witch made a crash, next went to Nvidia forum and download correct driver without uninstal previous-i did that later.

I am not very good with PC, but when i see that Volyage and temperatures are in noorm everything is ok for me.

Now my bro sleep but start moving in bed cause this cooler sound like 100db:(

Again sorry my English, but i believe more wriring and reading will bring me to the middle level lol

Don't apologize. We have a couple of other forum members that speak so-so english and they are beloved here so you'll fit right in. Welcome to the general forums=)
I don't like new games.
So my advise is never future proof your PC and never go for cutting edge tech.
If you can play 85-95% of your favorite games without an upgrade then upgrade is NOT worth it.
But it's none of my business. ;)

However you should change some of PC parts.
And get some more ram ( 2GB is okay but I suggest 4 GB if you don't want 32-bit only PC).
Some of new games supports 64-bit os ONLY (EA Star Wars. I am talking about you).
Don't forget to upgrade your PC's power supply unit when you are finished upgrading.

You are absolutely right and yes i have 2x2gb RAM dual channel. If somebody give me oportunity to work than i think for upgrade, but now you are right-i can play 100% of games that I like and need upgrade for games that i have no money to buy.I will try to replace one of the 60mm coller on videocard and will leave my PC rest from upgrades.

The PSU is 130Wats more than previous, but before my idle temperatures was 50-60 degrees lol.Now i see 40 degrees and i am very happy. The PSU came with beautyful box and every part was put in bags which is like women's bag for stuff.I saw what is a difference to put more money cause first i choose some 650Wats from China and 2 minutes gameplay bum shut down.I back this 650 Watts shit ant pay for Termaltake.

CuCuJambo: snip
I'd say save up for a new computer instead of trying to fix up the old one. The amount you're paying now might seem small now but several fixes later and suddenly you realize you could have bought a new one if you suffered through it and saved. You'll appreciate having modern features and speeds. The people telling you to keep it don't remember just how crappy those old machines could be.

And while you wait to save up the money, you can enter contests for new computers and computer parts. You might actually win one for free. Many of these contests are worldwide so you're fine.

Don't worry about being able to afford games. You don't need money to get them. You just need value, and value can be acquired for free. :D
