eric5h5: I don't really care if you care or not, frankly. It does affect me, so I'm not about to stop complaining. It's a broken feature and should be fixed.
The update flag system is known to be broken for years.
I only have data since Nov 2017, but for my experience, it was as bad as now.

Except it was actually working consistently and I never had any problems until a few weeks ago. Also there's an answer as posted by Alexim: "It's a known bug since the installers with integrated Galaxy have been replaced by the giant blue button". So, this is a known bug, that ought to get fixed, if they're interested in fixing things these days that is.

The op is right. The update flag system was far from perfect but now it doesn't work at all. It's damn annoying.

I just got word from one of our devs. :)
There was a hiccup in one of our systems, that wasn't spotted by our monitoring system. All delayed updates have now been sent.
