Tyrrhia: What a lovely art style! But I shouldn't be surprised since that's pretty much the norm for Daedalic titles. I love this studio! ^_^
rgnrk: Well, it wasn't a Daedalic game; as a backer I can tell you it was a kickstarter from a spanish independent studio that predated Daedalic's publishing deal. And the handpainted graphics were one of its selling points from the get go. Daedalic got similar publishing deals with other spanish games like Randal's Monday or Dead Synchronicity (this last one also a kickstarter).
But yes, even though they are lately embracing 3D (although Silence isn't look bad either), Daedalic did release a lot of handpainted games.
Oh, I know. But they don't publish any and every game they see; they choose their titles to fit with their recognisable visual style. I guess I should have said "Daedalic-published titles" to be more accurate. ;)
