Matruchus: No, not at all. Its kind of a fast paced real time business game. You try to build your business empire (place production buildings and sell products on the market) and buy off your enemies at the stock exchange. The only difference is that you are creating a business empire on Mars. The game takes about 20 minutes each go. Most I saw was around 40 minutes.

IronArcturus: Is it randomized like a roguelike? Are there any custom maps?
You can play custom maps in skirmish mode. There is also a campaign.

Here is the gameplay description: http://offworldgame.com/game/gameplay

Big Pharma: Marketing and Malpractice got a gamecard.
The Banner Saga 2 showed up, without gamecard for now.

Wow really?
I thought they didn't want to bother due to piracy concerns.

I think that concern was eliminated about 30 minutes after the steam release...

Probably should've seen it coming though.

Great news! I'm very glad devs changed their minds!
At first they don´t want to release the game on gog because of piracy, then the game gets cracked the first day it releases on Steam, and now they are like "We intended to release the game on gog right from the beginning!"

Eh, I´ll pass...

Edit: I don´t want to sound negative, sorry, but I really hate that attitude from devs and publishers.

I do understand why you are upset but personally, I don't blame the devs. Look at it this way: they are making games for a living. I’m not surprised that they got angry seeing their product stolen and their income reduced (heck, I would be angry about losing some money too!). They tried to avoid it in future. Sure, they made completely ridiculous assumption "DRM free increases piracy" but again - they were feeling disappointed about their game being pirated and when you are in a such a mood you can easily make ridiculous assumptions. But now they can see this was all wrong and piracy is not related to DRM-free feature. So I do respect it that they try to fix it. Sure, they do it to earn more money but can I blame them that they want to be paid for their work? Unless I see some other stupid behavior from them I will get the game.

I understand that they want to earn as much money as is possible, but a little honesty would be appreciated.

Ghorpm: ...their income reduced...
You make the same mistake as the developers of this game did, assuming that these "pirates" would have bought the game if said game was uncrackable ;)
imo there is no such thing as "reduced income because of piracy" (or if it is, it is negligible aka peanuts money).

They didn't even sell 30 000 copies according to steamspy...

Pirates couldn't cope for that one... :P
