That looks pretty cool. Unfortunately, it also looks like it would kick my computer's ass.

Oooh, it's like a prettier Fantasy Wars.

Also, will we ever get Elven Legacy?

And published by our pals at Daedalic Entertainment. So possibly get ready for regional screwing and no German for Germans.

I wouldn't be surprised by the former, but I doubt about the latter. All Daedalic games, with the exception of Chains of Satinav and Memoria, have German language.

I'm sure by the time it actually hits release status you'll have something even a little better. By the looks of things, crawl will be out long before armello.

Ah, I thought they were infamous for not providing the German translations. Perhaps that was someone else. Or folks were highly upset at these two omissions.

At the moment these two are the onliest ones. But there were other things like only adding the German language for Deponia 3 after a long time etc.
But that is highly upsetting at least for me since steam is getting all the language packs at once.

I think it was the latter one. But iirc the problem with these two games are that they are published by Deep Silver whereas the other daedalic games are self-published. Atleast on other platforms. And Daedalic doesn't have the rights to the german version.

It was Daedalic alright. Deponia 3 initially shipped without the German language (and the game was released 1 month later on GOG than other stores) and was added months later. When asked why Chains of Satinav and Memoria were released on GOG without German language, Daedalic gave two different explanations:

1) There is no regional pricing in GOG (Obviously, not true anymore)
2) Deep Silver holds the rights for the German language, since they are distributing the retail versions in Germany (That doesn't explain, though, why Steam has German for both games).

That is just plain bullshit from their site and apparently not liking gog since they are offering the German versions on steam.
