In Polish there's a phrase: due to a chronicler's duty. It suits this situation well :-) There was no news article about the upcoming add-on.

I still have this thread in favourite topics :-) But AFAIK people moved to this thread with the Upcoming tab news. Frankly speaking, since last year the 'upcoming' games section has grown a lot and it's much harder to track the changes now.

Thanks a lot, I tried my best to keep it updated. GOG has changed it's approach, nowadays there's rarely an upcoming game added without any news post nowadays, so that's good obviously.

Moreover, there's one thread I mentioned in the previous post about new released games without news post (mostly DLCs), but I always keep an eye on this thread as well - there are a few people who scan GOG's API (if I understand it correctly) and announce upcoming games few hours/days before gamecard appears, so now it's the main source of this news.
