Free Content Pack 01: Hidden Dreams

Some time ago, Team Cherry announced a series of Free Content Packs heading to <span class="bold">Hollow Knight</span> – a great big cherry on top of the deservedly beloved and stylish Metroidvania. The first of these – Free Content Pack 01: Hidden Dreams – has just dropped.

To celebrate the update Hollow Knight is also getting a 34% discount for one week!

So what does the Free Content Pack 01: Hidden Dreams get you? See below for the official info:
2 New Bosses – Leap into battle with the mightiest foes! These epic new duels will test even the most skilled of players. Each fight grants rewards to the victor, though note: Engaging with each imposing boss is entirely optional! Who are these enigmatic, impossible-to-discern figures? We’re not telling! It’s up to you to find out!

2 New Tracks – Epic battles need epic music and Chris’s been preparing just that, with stirring new boss themes for each encounter! He's gone all out on these ones!

New Upgrade: Dream Gate – Discover a whole new method of traversing Hallownest! Slice through the Veil and travel in an instant from one corner of the kingdom to another.

A New Stag Station Uncovered – Hallownest’s stages once traveled the breadth of the kingdom, but with the departure of the King, one station was walled away, hidden from bugs and forgotten by stages, until now!

One of the all time greats of metroidvanias. The low price isn't reflective of the quality, which should have been around 30 buckaroos at the least.

If you haven't bought it already, this update adds more travel options to cut down on the backtracking and performance has been smooth ffor a long time now.

Is the installer on the website updated? Because when Galaxy tries updating the game it just crashes. I'm trying to do it "the old fashioned way", by downloading the installer from here and "update" the game so that Galaxy stops trying to update it automatically and crashing all the time (it won't even give me enough time to set it to manual updates...)

Thank you! It did update the game, fortunately, now I can have GOG Galaxy open again :P

Have been waiting for the free content update. However I am a bit disappointed that GOG decided to let it replace the original game since this is more than a simple update and according to the changelog it changes the game quite a lot. Would have prefered to have at least the option to archive this as a patch.
