The time has come – Cyberpunk 2077 brings in a new patch!

With this patch you'll be able to express yourself like never before — it includes over 100 new customization options for V, adds CrystalCoat™ compatibility for select vehicle brands, introduces a brand-new TWINTONE™ color scheme feature for CrystalCoat™-compatible vehicles, and more! Photo Mode also received a major overhaul with new camera options, aspect ratios, light sources and posable NPCs, just to name a few things!

Check it out!
This sounds purely cosmetic. I won't say lipstick on a pig, but perhaps makeup shotgun to an already fine enough game.

Gede: Are these updates cosmetic only?
Not quite, some other stuff too.

Changelog here:
https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/51028/update-2-2-is-live

This is interesting for those with Intel's latest 200 series processors:
"Optimized threading system to improve performance by up to 33% on Intel Arrow Lake based CPUs."

Which still doesn't remove the DRM from the game.

First of all, I just want to say big thanks to Jpolgesek and everyone else involved in the fixing of Blue Dots (Offline installer update notifications) for games that are only sold as packages, This included Cyberounk 2077 and the Witcher 3, as well as many others. As of last week such games have FINALLY started receiving Blue Dots.

Secondly, I would, once again, like to ask CDPR to create offline installers for the PL Pre-Order bonus (The car lottery) and for each individual "My Reward".

how long does it usually take for the offline updaters to appear in gog's downloads page? i used the offline installer and I don't want to have to redownload the whole game just for an update
Are the patch offline installers for the base game coming or not?
I'd rather not download the 112 GB of the regular installers all over again if it can be helped.
90 GB update? Are you serious?
Can I pet my cat now??
Thank you for still adding new stuff <3

Thank you so much! I need to start a new playthrough and bring Johnny everywhere. Has anyone found anything really notable yet? Oh man. I really want this game to keep going on!
Have they made the Johnny Silverhand segments skippable? First time okay for story but in repeat playthroughs they just get in the way and bog everything down.

I had the same issue. Re-launch Galaxy, it should be like 22Gb update instead.
The good thing about this is that CDPR found a way to keep updating the game and LTS, People don't seem to realize that v2.2. is nothing but a symbolic update. CDPR wanted to show that fans don't have to get mad that they outsource the updates now and that they still adhere to the whole "CDPR seal of approval" kinda thing.

However, the game still has some things that lack consideration

- We get more things to edit our characters and what not, but no way to appreciate it. I'd suggest a leasure mode. basically the same thing as driving the car but for walking around only. Fighting turns game into FPS/Normal mode again. To see this much customization without a way to appreciate it to the fullest seems weird. Photo Mode be damned, that just takes you out of the game.
- Some of the promised content is still missing, like the casino
- CDPR wanted to add all the seen arcade games but never have, I hope the new company can fix this by adding all arcade games

I think them fixing some of the bugs is great and a good step in the right direction. I think v3.0 gonna be awesome.

Now that you mention it ... true - I got a blue dot for a game that never received one before. I second the "thank you" to jpolgesek :)

Nope. They're still using "this game has DRMed content" as an advertising point right there on the GOG game card.
