Counting down the hours till XCOM 2 War of the Chosen releases, 3 hours after which I have to go to work so figured I'd spend the time making a list of which other games I have to look forward to. So far this is what's getting me excited for the future:

Evil Genius 2 - TBA (Ow god, let it at least equal EG1)
Divinity Original Sin 2 - Sept 14 2017 (Slightly mixed feelings, looks great, amped for it, but I co-opped the first with my ex...)
Jurassic World Evolution - Summer 2018 (Something to scratch my Zoo Tycoon itch!)
Monster Hunter World - 2018 (Finally a PC version. Hoping for the best)
The Guild 3 - EA September 26 2017
XCOM 2: The War of the Chosen - 9 hours from now...

Wondering what other upcoming games I might have missed.

Not my genre but loving the chars ^^
With the timing of the topic I figured you were excited for the new Bubsy.
Oxygen not included (Klei)
Cuphead
Unavowed (Wadjet Eye)
Battle Chef Brigade (the concept is interesting to me, don't know if the execution will be good (including the gameplay)
The Swords Of Ditto
The Universim demo made me interested in the game
Astroneer (I saw people on Twitch playing the alpha, a while ago, and it got me interested; but not sure the released game will still interest me)
I'm actually currently most interested in Ancestors. It looks pretty awesome and I'm a sucker for RTS games. The fact that it's being developed by such a controversial studio (with a, so far, admittedly crappy track record) actually only makes me more curious about it. I am pretty sure that it has some serious right wing undertones but oh well, it's not gonna hurt me and it might actually make the game's take on the setting more interesting.

I'm also really looking forward to Beyond Good & Evil 2. It's not quite what I had in mind when I was hoping for a sequel to BG&E but it seems like a really original and ambitious title that will hopefully inherit at least some of the original game's magic.
Not really sure what's coming up, but here's what I want to see from the 'unofficial upcoming games' list:

Wasteland 3
Space Engineers
Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire
Northgard
Demon Age
Cyberpunk 2077
Banner Saga 3
Elex

Add in Divinity Original Sin 2 as well

and I'd have been pretty stoked for The Mandate as well. Too bad it's not going to happen.
Talespire
Longsword
Wartile

Yeah, there does seem to be a pattern here, but I can't quite figure it out. Also, I don't know if any of these will have a DRM-free release, so I may end up not playing them after all.

I guess I'd be excited about Original Sin 2, but I haven't even played the first one yet.

Prey for the Gods is the one game I am interested in right now, when I first saw the trailer for it, I was thinking Shadow of the Colossus 2 :). I'm hoping that they release this on disc when it comes out.

Won't buy it on Steam, but the developer said there will be a DRM-free release before the end of the year.
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Kingdom Come: Deliverance (really hope it ends up coming to GOG, but I'm not too optimistic at this point...)
Medieval Kingdom Wars, even though I'm not much into RTS games myself - I'll enjoy watching someone do an LP of it.
Assassin's Creed Origins - same, will almost certainly never play it, but it looks fantastic

Terraria Otherworld
Battletech
M&B:Bannerlord
Stealer - but I'm not hopeful it will see the light of day
Metroid: Samus Returns.

I am somewhat concerned that Nintendo will find some way to screw this one up, but the same development team also made Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate, which was surprisingly good, so they might be able to pull it off.

EDIT: Whut? GOG can't handle multiple links on the same line? Meh, not the first thing that's found to be broken, I'll just work around it using the magical power of linebreaks.

EDIT 2: Oh, so it works on all but the first line?

EDIT 3 ¾: Effect of multiple links in the first line visible in attachment.

I would have put it on my list, but I'd only play it if it came here; and I've seen no indication of that. Voted for it though.
