Have you saw the Lan knot/way of tying shoes? Seems fast and fault-proof, but the funny part is I'm tying my shoes in a totally different manner that the 3 shown lol :D
No, and with the page so much covered in ads and other links to buzz feed and other locations, i can't see any content i'm interested in. So i'll pass on trying to figure it out rather than trudge through that mess.

Actually, that's an Ian Knot, not a Lan Knot. If you google it, you'll find youtube and other pics that aren't crippled by ads.

Congratulations on your giveaway!

Don't you use adblock plus? Anyway I see in the page provided from chadjenofsky also the mega Ian knot which is just WOW :)

Thanks. Looking at it i recognize it from watching anime, specifically when certain girls put on aprons...

Indeed, however that doesn't mean pages on the same site are blocked; From the looks of it most of those 'ads' are banners for other pages you could go to. Also from the looks of it, it loads the page as you go, so adblocker probably won't get it because the loading happens after the page finishes loading and adblocker has already scanned the initial empty page.

What annoys me most of that is how little information that original page gave, like teasing you. "ARE YOU THIRSTY!" and showing you a glass of water but not telling you anything substantial.

Excuse me then, now I see that Adblock really does nothing on that specif page :(, and you're right the only useful thing is actually the video.

Considering how fast it happens with them doing it behind them it's obvious there was a trick to it and it wasn't the regular knot we know. I reverse-engineered it, but never bothered to figure out the real name of it.

As for ABP, there might be newer updates to help deal with it, but honestly with pages so ridden with loading more content after you scroll past a certain point features of the browser become useless (like text searching) until that new portion has loaded... I'd rather not use those pages/services at all anyways.
low rated
im in but i can trade as well lil alt
Since this thread is mostly about knots still...

A friend asked me to do a monkey fist, well never having actually done it I sorta failed the first half dozen times. But I managed to get it working. Although certainly no easy feat :P Doesn't help the core is a golf ball, so I ended up doing 7 passes with 550 cord (I think 25ft before removing slack)

Honestly, you really need a jig for this job, although your fingers can act like a jig, it's a pain.

Haha yeah I did notice that this was a super old thread, but I couldn't pass up on that pun.

Gede: Wow! It looks great. :-) Good job.
Yeah. Tried it originally with Twine. but the twine frayed so badly it looked crappy. Didn't help the cord was uneven, while 550 looks nice smooth and clean.

Twine? Is that a brand? And 550 means what? Sorry, I know little about "string theory".
