Heard it through Gamasutra. So, Deep Silver Volition released an ISO of the game Saints Row they developed for PSP back in the days.

The ISO of the prototype is downloadable here:
https://www.unseen64.net/saintsrowundercover/

For those who don't have a cracked PSP (like me, sob....), you can read the full original game design document (122 pages) on Volition website:

How finished is the prototype?
Interesting. I'll be certain to try it out. It should also be playable with PPSSPP, so modded hardware (or an actual PSP at all) shouldn't be necessary.

You don't even have to mod the PSP to run it, it's a matter of launching a single program.

Right. Still, I'll have to get a PSP if I am to play it on a PSP. So I'll play it on a computer instead (plugging in a PS3 controller to get the controls close enough).

Neither do I, but as mentioned in the article: "The prototype is fully playable in a PSP emulator".

Shouldve read that article I guess. ^^
Thanks. :D

I hope we´ll get info soon regarding the new reboot. Its supposed to come out this year, but there are no infos except for this "Saints Row 2016 will take place in 2106 in a futuristic Stilwater in which a new Protagonist joins an anti-gang elite group looking to remove gang and terrorist threatens plaguing the city. "

Maybe we´ll finally get SR IV on gog after they announce the SR V release date. :D

Might be interesting, assuming I stop emulating Super Mario 64, which is an infinitely better game to play today. I think.
Well, I tried it. It's awful. Not that I expected a fully polished game, but what there is of it (or at least what little I tried before quitting) is basically unplayable.

Thanks for the heads up. I was going to download it later and try it on my PSP but reading your post, I ain't gonna do it. :)
All right, this is late and no one cares any more. But just in case some poor soul does, I recorded a video of me trying to play the game for about 20 minutes and uploaded to that video service Google has. No audio though, for whatever reason the application I used wouldn't capture anything.

I can't load the video, i get a warning that the video is classified (or whatever similar word is used for the english speaking version of the site) and asks me to log in.

edit: Nevermind, the second time it worked and now i can see it duh'! :)

Thanks for the upload, it's appreciated for people like who don't want to go through the hassle of making it work :o)
