StingingVelvet: One of GOG's business motives is to earn their $5-10 with DRM free and tweaks to get the games running well, so I doubt they focus much on free stuff like that in the future. That was mainly to build awareness of the site, which I think is a smaller goal now.
PoppyAppletree: I actually wasn't aware that the reclaim your game system was a thing. I initially thought the OP was talking about GOG Connect. Very cool though.
Confusingly enough, GOG has three different methods of adding games bought elsewhere.

http://www.gog.com/connect It is ironic that most GOG users still don't either know that they exist, or how they work exactly, as there are questions about them on weekly basis on these forums. It really doesn't help that there's no central place for all this information. It's still kind of cool that they are at least attempting to create these things.
