Guys..
If you're gonna make something that's meant to be on display, why not stick to established methods?
OS requirements.... One guy has Vista first, then XP then 7, and another has 7, Vista then XP
I know it's only a small thing... you're not the first people to put OSes on a box and it's order has been pretty much established though usage for years and years..
oldest, to latest, there's no real reason to change it, although the Vista first one, does seems a bit 'agenda-ish' tbh (I take it that's the OS you use?), at the least the 7 first one is simply the wrong way around.
... Yes, I know it's a very minor matter, and yes, I apologise for being "that guy".. it's nothing I can't fix myself, but still...
XP, Vista and Win 7.
..buy yeah, overall... nice work guys.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Covers are produced by fans loosely based on the original template. It is not mandatory to follow the template and many do not (myself included). There is no editor or rules concerning submissions. Since Windows 7 was not supported until around Oct, everyone has added it as they see fit . . . hence the wide variety of inclusions.
We have discussed updating the older covers to include the Win 7 logo but ... speaking for myself, it's just not high on my priority list at the moment . . . =)
Looking forward to your cover submissions . . . =)
Hehe . . . I know and I like knowing you're there . . . =)

Stuff: lol . . . not really, I just bought it myself. It sat there for years without being completed. The original cover list has a cover for BS 2 and BS 3. With the DC release it sorta came to the top of my list.
I try to make a cover for each individual game in the series and a combo pack cover for the whole series. If there is not a cover for the game(s) in the alternate list I remake the missing covers. That way the alternate cover list has a cover for every game released on GOG. The original cover list is no longer maintained so making covers for any releases not in the alternate list is my way of merging the two lists. With limited time and lots of releases it's getting harder to keep up.
If I'm lucky I find several great cover shots for a game. I try to make at least two original covers for every game. Some games it's hard to find a single good cover shot. I never "create" original game covers (excluding the game packs) my focus being on trying to capture the original artwork for the game. Have to fudge it a little sometimes , , , =)
We were 20 -30 games behind at one time . . . =)
I gotta admit I like creating new covers from artworks :P Im the type of person who liked the half life 2 release with Gordon, Alex and (forgot the third one) cover variations... but geez where did you find the monk BS cover... only good one i could find had the bloody wii logos all over it.....I try to make a cover for each individual game in the series and a combo pack cover for the whole series. Creating your own is fine, less work too . . . =) I try to make covers that ppl remember when they bought the game. So many different ones released worldwide that I usually pick the one with the highest quality image file. The Wii image is the one I used, got the highest res and edited out the Wii header and logos. If you look closely you can see my edits. Like I said, sometimes you have to fudge a little . . . =)
The Sleeping Dragon was more difficult because of the building.

Somehow I missed out the fact we're sorely lacking IE games compilations. I guess I'm going to rectify it ;)
Starting with :
Icewind Dale.
Baldur's Gate

Liking these DVD covers. GOG DVDs anyone? Pay shipping and get your game on DVD perhaps, like Telltale Games does.

Hmm looks like the Warlords Battlecry 3 cover link is dead now http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/5777/warlordsbattlecry3.png and you get a 404 not found. Anybody have a copy to re-upload?
Thanks in advance.
