I was thiniking.. hmm this is gonna be annoying to find a cover for then opened the manual and HOLY S*** the cover!!!! ..... yeah thats my little bit of over exageration for the day :P

oh and Stuff, i wanted to ask if it would be alright if I could do the same thing you do with the spines to make it the one texture (dark Grey).... pretty please lol

Sure, I try to follow the basic template that was first used way back when. I cleaned my template up a little. The spine was one of those things I thought would look better if it blended to the surrounding spine. I vary from the basic format from time to time but try to remain true to the original for consistency.

Mostly I try to keep the new releases caught up rarely re-doing an existing cover unless I find an nice cover image that we don't have. It's easy to do the covers for games you like and difficult to do covers for games you don't. The goal is to have a cover available for every game GOG has released.

The constant release of games can be overwhelming if your time is limited. I also try to remove as much garbage from the cover as possible (not always possible) and put the GOG, developer and publishers logo at the bottom. Since they allowed their game to be released DRM free . . . I try to give them some recognition.

You might reconsider how you are doing your screen-shots as well. BTW, I also stopped putting the background image on the back. If the game has very little info or if I can add one without making the text difficult to read, I will . . . =)

I like the idea of fixing up some of the old ones (the duke one and unreal tournament ones had come from the whole "omg those images look like they could be awesome covers", and personally I cant wait for the appearance of quest for glory to make some covers for the series :P )

Well I was thinking about keeping the developers but I really like Clean covers (im the type of person who will stop at nothing to get price tags off), I even try to get rid of Developers log's because your gonna see them when you start up the game any way and the gog logo is on the spine aswell ... Maybe relocate Logo's to somewhere on the back may haps... and Im an Australian TAFE student who has too much time (except for gruelling hours on Javascript that I can not understand lol) so the covers are pretty easy and I woke up really early this morning and saw chaser and just though either The Witcher, or cover..... cover won lol

And with the screenshots I dont know... I dont know why but i really like the original boarder... yeah I have no idea why.... :P

and an updated version of the CHASER cover with new spine and slight colour change/darkened cover image to look more like gog's
