Sounds like a good plan. Also agree that we should wait for a while, lots of folks focused on the shutdown at the moment along with the unstable site.

I know GOG can't really comment but it would be nice to get some input from them as well. The covers are fan generated but I have often wondered what GOG would want the format to look like. I try to minimize logos in order to make the game the most important part of the cover image. I also got my screen shots to work better which improved the quality of those images.

Same here and . . . it eliminated looking for high quality screen shots as well. I posted some covers that had an incorrect image a few times so . . .

Are you guys open to a few template concepts? I'm a bit of a stickler for graphic design, and some of the results from this gen have been kinda... average. No offence to the community guys doing the work, of course.

Anyway, I should upload some ideas in a few days. Keep me posted.

Anyone can submit any DVD cover design they want. Thiev maintains the list. The covers should be posted in this thread where they can be found easily. We were just discussing a format change so . . .

It isn't elitist club ;) We are always open, be it for improvements, ideas, comments or new covers.

We'll use smaller font? :P Logos can always be moved - for example on the left side of middle screenshot or even to the front side.
