jamyskis: Feedback gladly received!
Stuff: For simplicity I would suggest you consider maintaining the standard template size (6.3 " x 4.2 ") for your covers (see attached "compare.jpg"). That would make it easier for someone to print following the original printing instructions
found here. Some folks might find the larger size of your image difficult to print if they were not used to printing images.
Some of us who used to make covers decided to increase the cover ppi to 300 for better printing but keep the original size in order to maintain consistency from the first covers produced to the last covers produced. We did that to hopefully
not cause less knowledgeable community members unnecessary confusion about the printing procedure.
The 72 ppi you are using will not print as clearly as a 300 ppi cover image but use it if you prefer that dpi, no real rules concerning the covers AFAIK. . . =)
Although way out-dated I will attach the old Word 2K printing instructions here as well. I never got around to making them for Word 2007 / 2010.
Edit: Couple of years ago we re-made all of Red_153D's original covers at the 6.3 " x 4.2 " @ 300 ppi so almost all of the existing covers are consistent. Covers made in the past six months or so may not be at the standard size as a few may have been made at sizes / ppi other than the standard we were using. Since our guidelines sorta came about over time and without anyone posting them . . new submissions would vary. The templates we posted were always at the standard sizes though.

I did try a 300dpi Lanszos upscaled image, which allowed printing dimensions of 273x183mm, but unfortunately the pic size always ends up over 5MB, which Cubeupload won't allow.
