Well, these bundles are really weird. They merge some specific and extremely different games (I mean radically different subgenres and style) and also the discount value makes them useless if you own at leas one of titles they contain. Nothing for me, because of that. I miss good all bundles offered by publishers, which count owned products and also provide some freedom of selecting titles to buy.
I would love to be able to make the bundles myself. That is, to choose the games I want to buy (at a discount). Or combine the bundles with what I'm really interested in.
I would also like not to lose the key or the game that is part of a bundle that I already have in my library. On the contrary, I would love to have a catalogue of user keys on GOG.
Thank you,GOG
Already own Hard West base game = instant pass. Close but no cigar.

Yes. Nothing for me as well.

What really baffles me is that when GOG used to have the bundles that considered owned titles, Steam used to have the crappy type of bundles. Then Steam switched to the good type and GOG adopted the bad type. Really weird.
Evoland 2, contained in the legendary edition, is a truly great and ridiculously versatile RPG.

If any of the other games in this bundle even mildly appeal to you, get it!
Too bad, I already own two of the games in the Strategy Bundle.

On the other hand, I have none of the games in the RPG bundle. What do you think? Anyone has played them?

Is it an action RPG, real time or turn based?

Don't know about Evoland 2, but the first Evoland has both Zelda-like action gameplay and turn-based RPG combat gameplay.

(I hear also that Evoland 2 also has minigames that are of various genres.)

In other words, the answer to the question "is it action or turn-based" is likely "no".\

Like dtgreene said, it's simply all of the genres. You'll have semi-turn based combat like in Chrono Trigger, you have army based strategy sequences, there's a Street Fighter and a Double Dragon sequence, they harken back to the Zeldas and the Faxanadus of old, there's a vertical shooter in there, they have an absurdly cool Dynablaster/Bomberman dungeon, Metal Gear inspired sneaking sequence and much more that I can't think of at the moment. They basically switch genre with each new area.

You don't need a preference, really, you just need to like games and JRPGs especially.

Sounds like fun, thank you

We really need a Build Your Own Bundle, and get a decent discount off each game selected.

Hum, we used to have those things. Now there are vestiges of that in some newsletter discounts. Also we got the games we already owned discounted form bundles. Not anymore...

They are good for newcomers and people who has not been around too long. They mix something old but good with something newish. Not obscure titles, yer not super famoud ones. It is likely that people might get draen to them. Actially they hit the bulls eye with this player, teo of the games in the dtrategy bundle already owned.

I was here soon enough to be aware of the GOG Mixes, though I never bothered with them.

My recollection though, was that they were about soundtracks ... but maybe I have that wrong, and it was something similarly named.
