Shadowcat: So how does voting work in Greenlight?
I can see a question "Would you buy this game if it were available in Steam?", which I am interpreting as "Would you buy this game
from Steam if it were available in Steam?", to which my answer would be "Hell no", despite the fact that I am definitely buying this game (regardless of whether it is available in Steam, but definitely not
from Steam)*.
I guess I have to click "Yes" to vote for it?
* Well, I've already backed it for a DRM-free copy, but if I
hadn't then the above would apply.
Greenlight has nothing to do with whether or not a game gets made, just whether it gets sold on Steam. I guess a failed Greenlight campaign for a still-in-progress title might prompt the developers to give up on it, but I doubt that would apply in this case. So a Yes vote pretty much just means "I would consider buying this game from Steam", not "I want this game to happen"
