On Epic it's not possible to pre-purchase Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection. I'm excited that this game could get ported to pc, which I didn't think would ever happen. I just hope it plays well on pc and doesn't make you wish you had a controller in your hands, like a lot of FP games.
Is this grounds to be excited? Any thoughts?

Not saying it won't work with mouse and keyboard, but I have a hard time imagining it will work as well as controller.

As for the games, enjoyed 1 and 3... absolutely loved 2... hated 4 (meandering and IMO self-indulgent)... and lost interest in the series overall (although I own most on PS).

I was excited for Sony Playstation PC releases when it looked like GOG would get them. Now, after God of War and Days Gone not showing up on GOG...? Not so much.

I never played any Uncharted game, but HZD played even better keyboard+mouse than controller for me.

If it's a good port and since these games have a lot of shooting, aiming with a mouse should feel better. I played all of the Uncharted games and I was terrible at aiming with a controller.

I'm happy that these games are coming to PC, but it's a shame they're only bringing 4 and Lost Legacy. Uncharted relies heavily on the relationships of its characters. People on PC who never played any Uncharted before will be missing a lot. Here's hoping that they can port 1-3 afterwards.

Well, I'd say we can necro this thread in a few years, when (if?) it comes to GOG, too.

They may have not been impressed with the sales of Horizon: Zero Dawn here...... though that was sabotaged by delaying it here while it was available on other PC storefronts. Probably would need to get a sales boost to Horizon for them to take a second look.

You're probably right, but I have always hated that kind of extortion. "Buy our game you don't want and maybe we'll give you the one you do." I remember reading a story recently where a publisher basically said something like that but I can't remember who right now.

I'm convinced that Guerilla Games had a clear idea what to expect when releasing an AAA game like HZD over here. Re-experiencing Lost Legacy on PC would be great, so I'm all for Naughty Dog releases! But they will also have a very clear picture about what sales to expect with a five year old title - plus an even older one.

Uncharted... My impression of the game that i played, was an annoying Indiana Jones type character with tons of linear puzzles that were stupid that fed into it wanting to be an action movie.

As such i can't find myself being interested or hyped.

Anyone, who bought this in the current sale (for twenty something bucks or so), can report on DRM?

This is a very old forum issue. Certain characters trip up the forum software, in this case the colon character in the link.

Edit: I made a working link by escaping that character. In this case, it means replacing : in the link with %3A

Bonus tip: also get into the habit of wrapping the links in quotation marks. Otherwise, if there are multiple links on the same line, the forum will mangle the post.
