Is this coming to GOG? It's on Steam. I'd rather buy it here than Steam, but I'd like the game soon.

"Ultimate General: Gettysburg" is already on Gog, so it's very likely "Ultimate General: Gettysburg" will come here too. (They are made by the same developer). I imagine they want to sell as many copies as they can on Steam and then offer it to a drm-free store (so some people will buy it again to have it drm-free too)

I have hoped that this game will come to gogs In Dev. program as well as I'd love to purchase it here and it's great from what I have seen of it.

I do hope they tweak the flanking and how sometimes formations fight through each other, but its a good strategy game. I hope they do it soon.

I'd say that since GOG already has Ultimate General: Gettysburg, then the chance of Ultimate General: Gettysburg being here is 100%. :-P

This is a good idea, I assume this game is still being made mainly by Darth who made the excellent DarthMods for Total War... he might be a little shall we say touchy on certain issues, but overall really nice dude that usually always responds to feedback/questions.

They're having a hard enough time keeping certain games updated.
Early access games might kill them.

They're having a hard enough time keeping certain games updated.
Early access games might kill them.
I have a feeling GOG is going to automate this even further eventually, even to the point were standalone installers are automatically packaged and put on the site with zero input from GOG. For now though, if devs integrate Galaxy then they can push updates to Galaxy users, and GOG can package the updates as standalone installer's whenever they get time to do so... sucks a bit for non Galaxy users, but an automated system will always be faster. This is of course assuming Darth would take the time to integrate Galaxy, which I don't see why he wouldn't.
