Elenarie: Because the food in Germany is good and not junk, right? Especially the fruit and vegetables, the quality is laughable at best compared to EE countries whose one of major industries is agriculture.
It always depends on how much you are willing to pay. And in the end, 80% of the fruit and vegetable stuff in German supermarkets is from European countries anyway ;) 20% local produce, depending on region, and pricier.

I certainly have rarely problems with food quality in Germany.... but then I live in a region that produces meat and vegetables locally, so quality is above average to me. No idea how it is in other regions.

XenSavage: oh yeah, whole world wants to put mighty Russia on it's knees, because they are frightened of the sheer power of Russian army :) They will even shot down planes to blame russia, those devils :) Dude, i'm not sure what photos are you talking about but it's kind of a fact that plane was shot down from territory that was controlled by terrorists. How the f#ck they could be ukrainian ?

Regarding Yatsenyuk resignation - it was because parliament didn't support his propositions and it wasn't connected to plane being shot down at any way, but of course this wouldn't convince you.

Overall, it's just sad how this "USA is the one to blame for everything" kind of shit that goes from Russian media is overtaking the minds. Alcoholics, bad roads and extremely corrupted government was imported from USA too, i presume.
I see you are still good at upkeeping the conversation your style. Well, comrade, let's play. :-)
Was it ever about Russian army? "The whole world" needs to fear it no more than it did a year ago - they didn't spit in the well. However, our southern neighbors are so hyped about it that they see it everywhere even when it's not really there. Oh well.
Last I checked Yatsenyuk was still the PM. Well, at least he's still as vocal as he used to be: http://www.forexlive.com/blog/2014/08/08/ukraine-may-ban-gas-transit-to-europe-as-part-of-sanctions-8-august-2014/
While we're at it, could you please remind the audience which parties were responsible for his propositions not getting a pass? What is "Svoboda"? I thought the nationalists weren't deciding anything in your parliament... were they?
And no, USA have totally no hand in the matter. It was North Korea who spent $5 bln on "helping the democracy in Ukraine", it was Kim Jong-il who dispatched his chief of Intelligence Agency to Kiev, it's North Korea who fling apeshit in the general direction of Russia but go all mysteriously quiet when asked to provide some solid proof to their accusations. Should I continue? I'm curious how you will psaki out of this. :-)

eRe4s3r: So the list of stuff Russia "boycotts" (since you can't sanction imports) this affects EU and US not alone, also included in this are Canada, Japan, Australia and a few others with close ties to the west. Obviously some of this is bad for Russians and some isn't. The very last 2 entries are very bad for Russians. General food will become more expensive. (And for Europeans, cheaper, thanks Putin ;P)
<...>
Pork
Beef
Chicken
Fish
Cheese
Milk
Butter
Wine
ALL vegetables
ALL fruits
<...>
Also note: Should this boycott remain in place for a longer period of time, these losses will mitigate because of new markets. For Russia prices will rise ie. Inflation.
<...>
Ps.: Unless you have money and want to buy the "good" food in Russia ;p Foreign food will be even more expensive if available at all, and you can expect smuggle and black markets to appear. As they always do when imports are banned but the demand is still there.
I like how you mix up boycotting all food import and boycotting certain food import from certain countries. If it's possible this isn't any trouble to Europe, well, meh, will it be to Russia? Turkey, Belorussia, China, LA countries aren't banned from the market last I checked so... :-p
No, I'm not saying the prices won't rise (you give those buggers who call themselves businessmen an excuse, they'll suck you dry), but nothing too dramatic. So sorry, the show's cancelled, nothing to see here.

Yeah, I guess I did mix foods together ;p It was largely based on an article from Spiegel Online ^^

Did anyone else hear the recent announcement that Ukraine wants to block all gas transfer to Europe? That's gonna make them many friends here. (I don't think they'll do it ,p)

Thats correct, your fantasy looks dry and exhausted. Dragging a Psaki's name into conversation with people, who are mostly totally unaware about lame fake "translations" of her due to theyr inability to dig into Russian, so even wouldnt get what you're about is quite a sign.

What exact problem with it? By now they just announced such possibility another time, and the possibility itself was quite obvious long ago.

To be honest, a fair amount of Russians read it the same way as you, and we didn't get it from Spiegel, so yeah, sometimes the wordings of news leave much to be desired . Oh, and I do hope that is the case with Yatsenyuk's statement about UA "countersanctions". I left a link to a blog article about that earlier.

Here's a quote from a comment from that blog:
' TR
Seems like a he was trying to answer a provocative question from a journalist with something “tough” but vague – which backfired. '
My personal opinion: the transit ban is highly unlikely, noone's going to gain anything from it and the UA government should understand it. Well, let's wait and see.

Look, comrade, we've had this talk before, nothing's changed since then. I still see where you're coming from, I still don't share your point of view. And I still think the best way to resolve this... disagreement, let's call it, is to wait and see.
Also, I am curious what the Ukrainian will answer. Aren't you?

Sorry man, one of us probably should have some sort of amnesia here. Im definitely cannot recall discussing your fantasies in general sense, or personally Psaki prior. I do recall what you tried to play some fool, and asked for some confirmations in past, thats correct, and kept the same line after you had got them, thus making me wonder for what use you asked for them from start. And yes, i recall what you claimed to have position "lets wait and see" in past, but, puzzling enough again, contradict you own declarations with discussing on a subject instead of performing the proposed "sitting quietly and waiting". Described behavior could lead to conclusion what you dont bother about any weight or creditability of your words even for yourself, so, obviously there is even less reason to do care about them for others. So, as you still proposing "wait and see" as a preferred way, please follow it, and keep the place clear from a ghosts in your head, there is already quite many other people with rich inner world here. Or you're simply unable to control your doublethink?
I cant say what im really curious, as some game forum's thread about non-existing thing isnt a place for some deep expectations involved, but i guess they surely would do it eventually, right. How come it was connected to me btw, there was clearly written "Did anyone else", not "I would be interested in some comment by Ukrainian" or smth, in which case i wouldnt dare to post anything. But it somehow happend what i meet the requirement given in a case.

nope, it's still your fantasy - there were no parliament re-election yet so most of it is sadly pro-russian but scared enough by Maidan to vote for at least most of laws.

first that's 5 million, not 5 billion, second - ukrainians asked for help for quite some time from US first, because, you know, russian soldiers/GRU/chechens invaded Crimea and east of our country. And, btw, the claim that Crimea is russian is total BS - if we want to restore historical justice it should have been gone to Turkey.

As for going apeshit - pro-russian terrorists were preventing international investigation for days there, while ukrainian soldiers were doing everythign possible to help. What kind of proof you need ?

I understand that you're getting your news from sites like rt.com and lenta.ru and i totally get why you're thinking like that - that shit they write is scary, but fortunately, has nothing to do with reality, common sense or logic.

Here we go again. So is Ukraine "the whole world"? It's no secret that you are afraid of the Russian military, but I still fail to see why, say, Switzerland or Germany would be.
Regarding the question, two words: Naval base. We were paying you for the "invasion" for, like, years if not decades.

nope, it's still your fantasy - there were no parliament re-election yet so most of it is sadly pro-russian but scared enough by Maidan to vote for at least most of laws.
Hmph, fine, I'll do the homework this time. Would you kindly read this till the words "The immediate trigger for Yatsenyuk’s resignation was the decision by the Svoboda and Udar parties earlier Thursday to pull out of the coalition government"? So... my fantasy or Washington Post's one?

Yes, yes, that's why they are shelling the territory in close proximity to the crash site at the moment. It does help, ask the investigators. And would you kindly stop the "everyone knows that, 'murica says so, what more of a proof are you talking about?"?

Alas, you missed. Mostly it's Interfax.ru, inosmi.ru with an occasional droplet of youtube (keeping in mind that I don't always know where the videos came from so I don't take everything for granted).

If I may ask, what's your favorite poison, censor.net or hromadske.tv (yep, stereotypes here. Sorry, couldn't resist. But seriously, where do you get your news)?

Well, for ones whos by some mystery are interested with modern capability of working with open data sources there could be some interest in work of some Holland guy, who aggregate the public data available on a subject, and trying to do something with it http://ukraineatwar.blogspot.com . Seriously, redundantly bashing the conventional media outlets for non-creditability its just a sort of special olympics for long time already. Way what looks more relaiable, is looks for facts, not just for "relevant source". If the source is relevant indeed - it work with same facts still, and if it making non-facts on its own - its not reliable source.

so paying rent justifies invasion ? That's the most idiotic thing i've heard in quite some time, good job :) Would you be ok with me kicking you out of your house if i'll pay you rent for let's say 13 years just because i think that's ok ?

and how exactly that proves huge influence of Svoboda you were talking earlier ?:)

it says in past two decades, pretty much since USSR has (luckily) collapsed. And how is that even relevant ?

No, go on. You do remember that neither siberia, nor Kazan nor Astrakhan were part of Russia before Ivan Groznyi conquered them ?:)

so all sources above are lying (top 5 from google, didn't even had to try hard), and interfax is correct, right ?:) and i don't think i have to stop anything - it' s you who claims that you know better what happens in my country than i do

censor.net, 24tv.ua, and bloggers/friends from donetsk and luhansk. Occasionally russian media too, but 99% of them has flavor of "we're best nation of the world, we are right and rest of the world is wrong" which makes them hard to read.

and there was literally nothing wrong with hromadske.tv and censor.net last time i've checked (few idiotic news aside). Care to elaborate on them ?

No-no, not all in any way, but yes, he express some signs of goldconspiracy-reptiloidsmafia-NODsect more often than its justified for decent people indeed, what contradicting with the fact what he's definitely much better than your typical sectarian, so i guess he just trying to act as nut sometimes, if it would work for his case, instead of actually being one.

There aren't only "the aluminum hats" and "blind slaves of society", there is a lot in between.
Some theories are true and some are not.
People claiming that there are no conspiracies at all anywhere are just as nuts as someone expecting them everywhere if you ask me.

To quote Walter Ulbricht 1961:

i have a feeling that most are not :) Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.
