Sounds pretty good. Voted, looking forward to new information.
When they say evil, does that simply mean you are supposed to kill the "enemies" and "protect" your "evil friends" because that wouldn't make much of a difference.

hyperagathon: No, this isn't about my plans for today

zeogold: But what are we going to do tomorrow, Brain?
The same as everyday, Pinky: We try to conquer the world!!!

Oh, thank goodness. I was starting to fear that NOBODY would get the reference.
Seems interesting, but I'll wait for more information about the game before I actually start looking forward to its release.

Well, I even know the Warner Brothers and the Warner Sister! :-)

Crosmando: I keep reading it as Tranny, something seems to be wrong with my brain.
Might not be far from truth if you remember the whole PoE debacle...

What PoE debacle? PoE's a good game and plenty of people liked it AFAIK, although it does have quite a few flaws.
I really dislike people who try to present their overblown, minority opinions as facts...

That being said, this looks interesting, provided you aren't forced to be stupid evil and there isn't a stupid twist like you actually being a good guy in disguise working to overtthrow the evil tyrant while pretending to obey them.

I was refering to the censorship of some things from the game. Can't see anything about the game quality in my original post...

I own a GOG KS copy...figure that...I disliked the game so much that i jumped on it right from the KS.

Sounds good to me. Loved Pillars of Eternity, and this one should be fine as well.

Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil or Chaotic Evil: The game

And in a twist ending, you can actually become True Neutral. :P

I'm sorry for my overreaction then, although I didn't notice any censorship myself.

One backers joke was removed from game after someone accused Obsidian of Transmisogny.

Here
The outrage

I see. I do my best to ignore that type of story full of moral outrage and people acting all offended, so it's no surprise I didn't notice it. I don't want to derail the thread further so I won't post any other comment about this.

To get back on topic, I just hope the writers will manage to deliver on Tyranny's interesting premise, because in my experience, most of the evil options in RPGs belong to the stupid evil, raging psycho category.

The game seems like a bit of a gamble too, because I know several people who can't bring themselves to play evil characters in RPGs, and the customer base for RPGs isn't so big that devs can afford to alienate some of it right off the bat.

Don't worry. I also over-reacted (stress at work;).

Check the links posted by Hunter. They explain the situation quite well. To be honest, i am starting to understand the radicals in the matter...:(

Like someone else said, as long as they don't end up putting the bad guy is good guy twist it should be good.

wolfsrain: Snip
They did exaggerate a lot though, and shoot some zombies let go of the stress.
