It's not so much that they "directly" insulted their customers per say, some people just felt that they indirectly insulted PC gamers (ie their customers) by apologizing to a few offended people... like "PC Master Race" is something that needs to be apologized for. As the term "PC Master Race" is a staple of PC Gaming that is inclusive to all PC gamers, not an actual statement on someone's actual race.

They probably did more harm than good by acknowledging these few people who are probably offended by everything today... because that's the world we live in.

PC Master Race dumbasses are just as idiotic, if not more so, than console fanboys who praise their system above all others.

The term implies that they're superior to everyone else. And what other group said the same thing back during World War II? Fucking dumbasses.

I had a jeep with a stick in high school. My mother first had a Subaru and then a minivan where both were automatics.

We hated driving each other's cars.

dark___devil: Fascinating how GOG decided to insult their customers in the name of a few permanently offended twitter snowflakes that don't even use your platform. It seems GOG's biggest market share is on consoles and tone-deaf PC users are minority of their consumer base.

I am not offended at this insult or want some apology,i am just sad and disappointed that GOG is bending the knee to a social bullies and terrorists. All this stupidity leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. I am not some big spender,i am from Eastern Europa and money are not raining from the sky. I do support games that i like when i come by the money. Still this few days i will go with supporting the local pub instead,at least they have some backbone and deliver nice jokes without calling you tone-deaf.
So your answer to someone taking offence at an innocuous tweet is to be outraged at the followup innocuous tweet?

It's almost like everyone is looking for a reason to get their nose out of joint these days.

Ah I get it now, the way I saw it before it seemed like GOG tweeted then apologised before backlash and replies by other people to terry crews gif weren’t visible straight away which infused me.
