opened my client to get the new dlc and start playing again and as soon as it opened it started to download 17gb of something and after it was done i no longer had my desktop shortcut, i have tried everything to get it back, nothing has worked

Will it run the game if i did it from there? also found a bug/glitch since the last time i played i cant play the game in 7.1 or 5.1 surround speech wont work on them

if you go straight to the program folder it should let you create a new one. Right click and select "create desktop shortcut".
