Man, end of an era :( RIP 007

Breja: He was in so many great movies, so much better than Bond - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Highlander, Name of the Rose, A Bridge too Far, Hunt for the Red October, Untouchables... and even in the bad ones he was still fun to watch (Highlander 2). Sad news indeed.
not to forget Outland, a bit of a hidden gem.

There can only be one...
Not to say that the others weren't good, but he literally was the quintessential 007. And he was equally as good no matter what character he played.

RIP, Sir Sean Connery.

To think it has been 30 years ever since The Hunt for the Red October. I feel old.

RIP.

What a sad thing to hear, on a day I so love to enjoy.

Rest in peace, Mr Connery....this one's for you: *tips out martini glass*
Sorry for this loss.

In my opinion, The Man Who Would Be King is a nearly forgotten classic.

He was also in a small part in Robin Hood: Men In Tights....a nice little comedy.

Nope. He was in Prince of Thieves. In Men in Tights it was Patrick Stewart as King Richard.

Outland is... ok. Not bad, but definitely not nearly the same level as those movies I mentioned. But that's my opinion of course. I myself actually really like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen for example, and even Zardoz I think is not nearly as bad as it's reputation (which is based mostly on the bizarre costumes I think).

I stand corrected.

League is such a good film......haven't seen Zardoz yet, though.
(though i've heard of it)
well to be fair, he did say - Never Say Never

Adios Sean Connery. Thanks for all the great acting. R.I.P.

RIP Sean.

Trying to come up with a oneliner.....can't think of any, I guess Auric Goldfinger finally had his way.

Sean Connery was an advocate for physically abusing women in real-life, and he probably did it himself. I'm not talking about anything his characters did in his films, but rather the real person himself.

Here's proof from his own mouth:

When you or I physically abuse women we go to jail.

When Sean Connery physically abuses women they will want more.
