There was this game I had in the early days of Windows, It may have been a DOS game that came on CD Rom and you controlled a robot tank in first person view through a jungle. It was not action oriented at all because each movement between the "rooms" were FMV clips.

I'm trying to figure out what game this could be, I keep seeing a first person FMV Jungle Book game.

Maybe it wasn't a jungle but the environment was definitely green. The premise of the game was that you were controlling the robot from your computer. There were hazards like giant lizards or quicksand that you had to avoid. That's about all I can remember though.

I think I got it around the same time as Lands of Lore 3 but that might not help since I got most games at the time from used bookstores that were already years out of date.

Hello!

This is a wild guess, but while there are no robots involved, you made me remember an old Windows 3.1 game I tried back in the day: FMV adventure, with room transitions, in a jungle and with 'dangers' as you described.

In game you are not a robot, but you use such an amount of gadgets that you're almost that :P
