lol when I first read the post I was really confused about all of the "telling" words. It was a tongue twister.

"I tell you that I indeed told Yatedigo that you said that I told Yatedigo that you want to tell him(that)." Yatedigo(yo) ~= I indeed/already tell you (and in french Je déjà te dis)

Ya te digo is a very common slang term, it is like agree with something... you can say "man this icecream is good!" and then you say "yatedigo" is like saying, yeah you are right... or, yeah I told you... the most accurate one in the meaning would be "yeah I can also say that" so as REDVWIN says "indeed" is probably the word that explains "ya te digo" in English in the best way.

Crsldmc was doing a twist tongue kidding with the term, is funny because is a complete phrase not just a word like "indeed" even if it sounds short, so you can twisted it in several ways and make a complicate sentence as he did.

English has something related with the word "ditto." I don't hear it as often these days, but it was very common in the 1900's, especially for agreement in the 1980's-1990's. Ditto crossed over from Italian and morphed to the meaning "same as above" in the late 1600's.
