It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hi,

Installation of GOG Galaxy complains about missing mfc140u.dll. Looks like its part of some old Visual Studio dependency, but I can't find info of which distro?
The redist (32 bit) from Microsoft will do.

With all I iike about GOG, they really do a bad job when it comes to runtimes, assuming everyone has everything preinstalled from the beginning.

Here's a post that should help you with most games.

How hard did you search?
Missing DLL files: mfc140u.dll ... and similar - GOG Support Center

Anyway, it's preferable to install both 32-bit and 64-bit all-in-one packages from the link in the previous post.
jfi: WIth firefox I always get a empty page when opening a link to the support center.

I also use Firefox. The first thing to check is any content blocking add-on like uBlock Origin.

I do have noscript, addblock plus and popup blocker installed, but these are deactivated for gog.com.
Probably the pure fact that they are installed and data passes through them already messes it up.
When I want to use support, I always have to switch to MS Edge.

A lot of the time, people think they've disabled blocking content for a site but they've only whitelisted blocking content from that site. The support site loads a lot of third-party content.
Even Firefox's built-in tracking protection blocks something from Zendesk there. If you don't switch that off, it becomes impossible to use the Sign In button in the top right (it just reloads the page), but article content is still viewable.

That may be it, I think the tracking protection is active.
Since I hardly ever need support and am quicker switching to a different browser, I don't fiddle around too much however :)
