When I heard about this, I kept wondering if the military will end up changing its policies on recruits with missing testicles. If they accept trannies, they would have to alter the policy.

As for accepting trannies, unless there is a bizarre genetic mesh-up resulting in extra chromosomes like XXY, basic science on chromosomes alone should dismantle the transgender movement as anti-science.

In fact, this whole transgender movement is a backdoor method of destroying individuality. If one cannot tell the difference between man and woman, then one will not tell the difference between Eric and Erica. Just look at who is backing these movements from the top financially.

Personally, I wouldn't give a shit. If I were in the US army and the person next to me could cover my ass... I don't care if they're transgender or not. As long as they can keep me alive, I'd be happy.

I actually kind of wish I went, and I don't have a particular hard-on for getting shot at in the middle of a desert.

I don't know how it works in the states but in most EU armies you can learn a lot of useful trade skills in the army like driving licenses, basic engineering courses etc. Plus you get a deluxe fitness packet on top of it free of charge.

Sure getting yelled at all day by some guy just a little bit older than you isn't that much fun, and it's a total sausagefest but there's worse things to be honest. Plus how many other chances to drive a tank, or even just some other heavy all terrain vehicle do you get in your life?

The military kill, maim and destroy on command when ordered to do so.

The military is quite capable of taking anyone from society and psychologically deconstructing their existing social beliefs and then rebuilding them to fit their overall objective.
