IMO having video clips that have nothing to do with game play as your first (main) showcase about what a game is, actually makes me want to go to steams site and shop for games. How does a YT video, totally unrelated to the game help, and why is it front and center.

That's what I hate about the Humble Store too. "Less than useless" is putting it politely...

because they're PR c****.
And I still don't know what trailer the user is complaining about ...
Because apparently gog's new webmaster thinks that its entire user base has lost the ability to read.

They probably assume that, given the quality of this forum, the only customers left are those who can't decypher it.

And they might be right...

All of them. You can't just check out a game without some video clip that has nothing to do with what the game play is, running first. I don't have to put up with that. I am not a gog captive. I don't look for games on Gog anymore. I am not going to sit through all those stupid videos, that can't be bypassed. Gog needs to go out of business, that is what businesses run by morons do.
You're complaining about video game trailers on a game store? Video game trailers are about generating hype and excitement so players would be tempted to buy the game. It's like flashy physical box art or misleading mobile game ads. I'm sure Kate Upton is definitely in Game of War, and Arnold Schwarzenegger was also in Mobile Strike.

If you can't be arsed to read or watch some reviews or gameplay then go to Steam, I'm sure you won't find any misleading game trailers there.

There are lots of things you can rightly complain about GOG but game trailers... smh
