Ancient-Red-Dragon: Probably because the GOG version is a castrated version IIRC, and hence it was received very dis-favorably here (and rightly so).
Are you referring to the missing online co-op component? At least that's what I seem to see as being a stickler from the reviews I read, or is there more missing? If it's just that, then I don't mind it.

The animation work is top tier, I've never been so hyped for turtles since the time I got to pick one up and feed it a wee leaf

Thanks for that, as I said if that's all, then I don't mind it, though I can see how some people might see this missing feature as deal breaking.
