"Well, I don't know if there is really a right way to tell people this, so I guess here goes. The CT did not come back negative. The cancer in the bowel is gone, but spots have appeared in my liver. They're not operable and there's no cure. Average life expectancy is 2-3 years, though there are outliers that live much longer. I'll be back on chemo in a few weeks, with the goal of pushing it back and keeping it there for as long as possible. I fully intend to be the outlier, the average is this way because most people that get this are old and not strong anymore. Who knows what they'll come up with in the next decade? I intend to beat it for as long as possible. Gonna need some time to process all of this. I don't really feel anything right now. Thanks."

Well that was more than selfish enough. I do hope he makes it far longer than that average, not the least for the sake of Genna and Orion.

Fuck... that's horrible. Poor guy. Still, he's got the right attitude. Progress is, at long last really starting to be made in the fight against cancer. People are surviving that wouldn't have had a hope even a decade ago. Keep fighting,TB.

While I quite rarely agree with TB, I do respect him. Hopefully he can beat this.

Same thing as my dad. What actually makes the 2-3 year life expectancy (in the UK) for the older generations is the cut-off point for care thatnks to our necrophiliac, pig-fucking Prime Ministers policiy on the national health.

Oh man. He was quite optimistic in one of his last videos that I watched concerning his health. I don't really know what to write here, I'd obviously wish him to get better but that's an off chance with this kind of cancer. But, like some of you wrote, medicine is leaping forward, who knows...

But anyway, we all die in the end. Some sooner and some later. If he won't let this define him, it's still a life worth living.

When I read where exactly is his cancer I felt like I had a pain in my lower belly that I think is my liver area.

Damn probably the greatest video game reviewer and advocate of PC gaming is going to leave us for all eternity in a few years.

Oh damn, whenever I look for a review, my first look on youtube is "wtf is ...". and I like the co-optional podcast. One of the best and honest game reviewers in my opinion. I wish him all the best.
