Reever: I think I'll stick with the 28$ one and add 4$ for the concept art and art book.
---------------------
So if donate per Paypal and put in 32$, will they know which add-on I want? Or do we have to choose them after kickstarter is over? (think there was a description in there, will read it again anyway. Just wanted to be sure :D).
avatar
GameRager: Just a head's up: It's 4 bucks for the concept art/digital map(iirc) & another 8 bucks for the concept art BOOK.
---------------
I backed via Amazon, but I believe you enter a dollar amount & then pick the pledge tier/extras(digital/physical) that you want from the available options.
Nah, it says "$4 - Hi-Res Digital Concept Art + Digital Map" so it should be both...
Yeah, but you have that option only if you do it when registered on Kickstarter, don't you?

Mrstarker: You choose after the Kickstarter ends. They'll send you a survey on the Kickstarter page.

Also, they have a separate backer page where you can register to manage your pledge and contact them: https://torment.inxile-entertainment.com.
As I said, not on Kickstarter. But I guess they'll do it per mail.
Or maybe I'll just register, there will be probably some more games I'll pledge for in the future (D:OS for example :P, damn, they're making me become broke :D).

Still have some time, hope only the 28$ tier won't sell out till I pledge :D And it's really cool to know you're part of the funding of the game =) Now I wish I had pledged for Project Eternity too... xD

Mivas: *checking KS* Wait what, the main page showed 0 seconds this morning. Weird. Hmm, I guess I have time to consider $35 tier for the video documentary DL once again.
---------------
And my tip is $3,700,000 - $4,000,000.
Video documentary??? There is no such things listed on the KS page(that I can see). :\

(Btw there are 57-58 hours left in this KS, in case you were wondering.)
--------------
I hope they make at least 4 mil so that the accompanying stretch goals are included in-game.

You wanted the artbook, correct? Well that's 8 bucks(The hi-res digital concept art/digital map & the hi-res artBOOK are two separate extras. The hi-res concept art/digital map set is 4 bucks, while the hi-res artBOOK is 8 bucks.).

(Addition: You can also get some extras for free if they're included in the pledge tier you select[For example, I pledged 50 bucks....this tier includes most digital extras available.].)

GameRager: snip
The Kickstarter Addons
There are a few more sites with information people, link to them. Or you want them in the OP as well? :P
Thanks, great interview!

Damn, my bad, I'm sorry. Got confused, lol. Digital Concept Art and Digital Art Concept Book. Talk about fiddling with words :D
Nah, 32$ is enough. Have to pay attention to my expenses. Even more so if I'll really pledge for Divinity...

And I really want a Sci-Fi-ish RPG on Kickstarter...(I know there's Cyberpunk, but that's, well, Cyberpunk, not "real" Sci-Fi). I saw one Sci-Fi game that got canceled because the goal wasn't reached, but it didn't look like what I had in mind...
Ah well, it'll probably come in the future :P (I know Torment is supposed to have some Sci-Fi elements, but I want some pure Sci-Fi RPG. Wrote Sci-Fi too many times :DD).

They mentioned it in the last update. You will get an access to steamed documentary from $20 tier and to video download from $35.
EDIT: It was Project Eternity news. I'm very sorry for confusion.

GameRager: You honestly believe they cut game content just so they could sell it as Novellas?!? 0.o

(Whatever you're smoking...pas me some, ok?)
avatar
Mivas: No, I worded myself badly. I dislike selling backstories on separate media. Let's take Mass Effect. They released comics between first and second installment and the sequel basically left some things unexplained assuming you have read it. I bought the game, I'm not interested in merchandise. And yes, before you ask I consider books based on games being a part of it.
I never read the comics, and don't remember being terribly confused by anything, although it's possible that I was at some point, then shrugged my shoulders and said, "eh, video game" and forgot about it. What do you think you needed the comic to understand?
avatar
BadDecissions: I never read the comics...
I'm not sure this place is ideal for ME spoilers. I meant a prequel Mass Effect Redemption. Luckily, later LoTSB filled necessary holes, so I didn't have to read more than the first chapter of that atrocious series.

Mivas: Project Eternity
is your clue.

Mnemon: is your clue.
Damn, presentations of both projects are so similar, they merge together in my mind sometimes. Thank you for pointing it out! It I'm sorry for spreading a false information, I immediately edited the post.

Indeed. It's also nice to have actual people to talk to. None of that corporate calisthenics. I've seen a lot of fan input taken into account in the different Kickstarter/Indegogo projects. For comparison, I've been following the new Thief for a while and the way they talk to the fans is one direction only -- down.

Btw, you can still become a slacker backer for Project Eternity through Paypal, if you want: http://eternity.obsidian.net/

mondo84: They've posted an updated video of their Unity test, this time in 1080p (in case you have a monitor with high enough resolution, unlike me).

Saw that yesterday. It looks and sounds pretty damn amazing.

Consortium might possibly interest you, then.
Looks like the KS is picking up the pace. Two more days, people. To arms!!

We're at 3,5 million without Paypal. Which means that the Hall of Lingering Reflections is already in sight. :D
