Hahaha, that was quick. It will plummet in pace eventually though, this just shows those who were sold on Project Eternity and Wasteland 2 didn't need to think about funding yet another.

Definitely. Unfortunately cant expect to keep up that pace.... it kinda shocked Mr Fargo as well judging by his update. Better churn out those stretch goals :)

It will definitely slow down and a lot. Kicktrq "trending" feature assumes the current pledges rate will be the same for the whole 30 day campaign. The trending value will plummet down as the days go by, but they may still hit a record or two before this is over.

I've been watching this all day. Crazy they are going to have to count overage in hundreds of thousands on the first day. Crazy in a cool way.

At 10million+ people will be asking for lots of voice acting and start to ask for things which really.. will it add to the game?.

Oh I did read it carefully. I was jus confirming it will slow down significantly. And as to the dream...well tbh, I have a feeling the dream might just turn out to be very close to reality. Looking at the initial rate, I wouldn't be very surprised if this reached between 6 and 8 mln.

If this fucking thing, or any game on KS for that matter, reaches 10 million it will be a whole new ballgame. You will see shit like Psychonauts 2 attempted, or games with real 2005-era production values. Can anyone say Morrowind-esque?

Depends on the voice actors - the right voice can lend depth and strength to words.
