Against my better judgement, I chipped in 113$ for the physical CE. However, a quick check shows that it's only slightly more money than a new console game around here. Go figure. I might be able to lower that amount if I can ship to my dad's address in the States.
2/3 funded already!
Hm, seems like the $95 (or $113 for non-US) tier has already been sold out O_o Glad I managed to grab it in time, now to try and balance my expenses for the next month.
wow, that was fast!
i grabbed the Numenera Scholar Pledge...
ill probably be hurting b/c of it but i couldnt pass up the artbook...
416 pages is a pretty huge book & i really dig the art style that they have going on, with what they've shown here...
its quite impressive...

i also get what 441635 is saying about sequels...
i have the same issue with alot of games & movies that do sequels...
they usually are not the same as the first experience...
but i do like that it is something new, i think it will be fresh & different & wont entirely take away from the expectations that everyone has when dealing with a gaming sequel...

Just a small notice, the 416 pages book is the Numenera Corebook in its digital form, not the Torment Art Book. While I would be interested in a physical copy of the Corebook, I think I'll order it from the Numenera site directly (at some point), since doubling my pledge to get it from the Torment kickstarter will be too much for my wallet :(
<Reads every word of Kickstarter>

Well, crap. There goes a paycheck.
Pledged instantly. Didn't even bother to read description/watch video (only after pledging). Fargo and the others know what they're doing.
Hot damn, this one's on fire!
I pledged for the $45 tier since I missed the Wasteland 2 kickstarter due to not having a job at the time. Can't wait to see what these guys put out!
Of course, I backed it. InXile's W2 updates have been very cool and PS:T was great. I don't think it's a material for series but I certainly don't mind it :).

However their old-fashioned "pay for every OS release" attitude is sad. Especially when we already have GOG (Win/Mac) and Steam (Win/Lin/Mac).

$790,000+ already :D

Guess they better start planning stretch goals if they haven't already...

Their reply to the question:
This is not set in stone yet, but we are working with different digital retailers to allow multi-platform support, so one copy playable on all platforms. Hopefully we can make that work, but we can’t make any promises yet.
So it seems that it's "pay once for every OS release".
Just pledged. The Kickstarter stands at $810,000 now...

Check out the pitch anyway, just in case. I've read it and watched the video and haven't seen anything surprising, but after hearing about the ridiculous uproar over Banner Saga: Factions due to how uninformed people are about what they're backing I really must recommend that you look it over.

With that said, I really should read the DFA updates.

I'm saving up for furniture for my new place so I can't afford anything more than $20 :( Boo hiss etc.
