Reever: Aaaargh fuck, I knew it, it's only for 64-bit windows. Damn damn daaaaaaaaaaaamn!!!!! I really need a new laptop. Damn it.

Having it here as "In Development" would be cool though.
laptops aren't really good gaming machines for recent titles unless they are specifically made to have low sys. reqs.

if you like to play new releases, I highly recommend a desktop. they are cheaper and more powerful, by A LOT!

Well, I don't really play many new games, although I surely am going to want to get The Witcher 3 and Mass Effect Andromeda at some point. But then again, I could still run ME3 on my laptop (not that I think I'll be able to play those on my current laptop, only that maybe they're playable on a higher end laptop) :D

And it's more convenient for me to have a laptop at this point in life. And still many classics to play. But since I ain't got enough money atm anyway, I'll decide what I'll get later on - thanks for the advice though =)

inXile devs are really active these days, so if there is some demand they won’t miss it. Not sure if it’s not a bit late for them to add the beta access on GOG, but you’ll lose nothing asking for it ;)

Well, from skimming the topics on steam forum, i don't think the game is quite polished enough for GOG's version of early access. I think GOG generally will have a higher standard for that kind of thing.

I want the game to be on GOGs early development thing myself. I was going to probably buy the game on steam cause they let you refund games if your pc doesn't meet the requirements, (I have integrated graphics) unlike GOGs refund policy. However, if the game gets on GOG's version of Early Access I can refund the game if it doesn't work and generally prefer buying games DRM free.

Here are the temporary games requirement for the beta, as posted on inXile beta forum:
System Requirements

We do not yet have a set of system requirements for the game, but we do strongly recommend the following:
Windows 7 64-bit or higher
4 GB RAM (8 GB preferred)
Intel or AMD quad core processor or better
Dedicated NVIDIA GeForce 7xx series or AMD Radeon R9 series graphics, or better
15 GB free hard drive space

We do not recommend playing Torment on an integrated graphics chip, and these are not directly supported (i.e. Intel HD Graphics, AMD APUs).
Keep in mind though that the game is still far from the optimization process, so you could expect lighter requirements for the final game.

It will probably something similar to what they listed there, i think i only have a dual core processor which may cause problems as well.. oh well. I'm guessing the final game will have requirements similar to Pillars of Eternity which the official requirements list needing a graphics card but I seen people say on forums that some can play the game fine with integrated graphics. (haven't bothered getting Pillars of Eternity cause I'm not a huge fan of a traditional WRPG game focusing mostly on Combat, for instance Liked Planescape: Torment much more than Baldur's Gate 2. But I never really know till i try. That being said i'm probably best off waiting until the game is as optimized as it can be.

Funny. Just checked now. "Delivery date 2014"... WTF...... and announcement of a publisher AND game on console.

Just what the f*** happened all this time?

Actually never mind. Looked through a few updates. Saw this comment :

" People below have suggested that those backers upset by things shouldn't be KS backers and instead get a discounted product when it goes on sale. I think that misses the point, but it could also be turned on inXile: by crowdsourcing their product, they're exposing themselves to the need to better manage the perceptions and expectations of their backers, that most committed core of their audience. If they didn't want that or weren't prepared for it, they shouldn't be crowdsourcing their product.
Regardless of one's perceptions of the situation, there are certain indisputable facts:
- The game was estimated to deliver Dec 2014.
- It's now March 2016.
- The update above states that the writing team has only just completed its first pass on writing.
- inXile is targeting a 2016 release date.
- inXile has produced 54 updates since the KS opened March 2013, averaging 1.5 updates/month.
- inXile decided to sell access to the game to non-backers before a significant number of backers received access.
- inXile sent no update to backers about that decision ahead of time.
- Some backers are upset by either the decision or the lack of communication, or both"

And that was from March....

They seem to be trying too hard to make a legendary game according to the reviews. I don't really know what happened.
Well, it would be easier to talk about the current state of the game if it would be here on GOG:

I read a few of the negative reviews, and they pretty much amounted to "Not PS:T", "Bad Graphics", and "Found bugs in the Early Access Beta". I didn't dig a lot further (not going to bother reading through all of them), but the negative reviews I've read don't worry me too much.

I'm with you. I'm a backer, I'm not too worried.

I hope it's not PS:T. If I want to play PS:T, I will.
