Darvallas: Whatever happened to "Playing as a 'bad' character doesn't make you one"? It's just a game. No one's forcing you to play it.

So much for freedom of expression.
Shhhh! There is so much hypocrisy and outrage here from all sides of political compass that it's simply a joy to behold. They are too busy getting offended to realize that, else they could actually do something useful with their life and perhaps even become a better person in a process?
Thanks for the free game! ^_^

No thanks. I would not dirty my hard drive with this crap.

Nervensaegen: It is a Greek game by a Greek developer whose production coincided with a crisis in Greece. This crisis was a huge deal in Europe.

patrikc: Austin, Texas.
This is correct. Given how many upvotes they have, it was most likely a satirical post.

Anyway, thanks for the game, GOG! Will be plotting to liberate my country with my fellow workers soon after I finish it.

wooooo why complain about a free game?
THANKS GOG!

deltahalo241: I gotta say, I wasn't expecting the comments section to look like this, but it is absolutely hilarious, good for a laugh. Kind of a shame so many people feel threatened by a game giveaway, but at the end of the day it's their loss.
I was definitely expecting it as it got as many comments when it first debuted. Almost as much as when the COVID game received when it came out.. hahah

thx, but no thanks, not going to play a communist game even if it's free. This game should be removed from Gog imo.

vv221: I love how the hundreds of games propagating conservative (or reactionary) values are never pointed out, but when a single game tries to show that "TINA" is a lie so much people get angry and feel menaced.
Which games are promoting conservative and reactionary values? Can you recommend some of them?

Literally every single game that isn't overt communist propaganda or stuffed to the gills with neo-racist progressive stereotypes is conservative reactionary.
Every. Single. One.
I see your library. Bigot.

I take it that is irony :-)
Anyway, if someone can recommend me conservative/reactionary games on Gog (no low-budget Trump nonsense on Steam!), that would be very nice.

Not being snarky here, just trying to be helpful. Aren't most of the managerial games where you work as an entrepreneur trying to maximize profit examples of pro-business? That's where I'd start first.

Ok, you've got kind of a point...never been good at business games though :-)

Anyway, my point was, I actually very much doubt there are tons of games who deliberately promote conservative or reactionary values, like this game does apparently promote far left views. The games you mentioned mostly don't seem overly political to me tbh (or at least not in that sense).

Well... making yourself a better person, let alone trying to study something useful takes effort. Being a self-righteous paladin defending some beliefs or ideology you don't fully understand because of lack of education and will to dig into details is much simplier. And most people are only skimming the surface. And... rich and powerful are really happy about it - kinda "left" duking it out with kinda "right" without thinking for a second about real issues. Big-Endians vs Little-Endians pretty much.

Also same lack of good education with extreme individualism leads to people forgetting what it means to respect other people and their opinions - their opinion is the only right one. That's why people create shitstorms over nothing.

Tbh i'd rather have individualism/independent thinking than herd mentality and people relying on so-called "authoritative figures" for their thoughts/viewpoints.

Also just because people passionately(sometimes a bit much so) state their own stance on something from time to time doesn't mean they disregard or are closed to other stances/viewpoints, and people posting passionate comments is not necessarily people "creating shi*tstorms over nothing".

You know what is(imo) a bad mindset? One automatically thinking "that person is 'ranting' about x or y...so they must be getting upset over nothing like all the rest".

Extreme riight games would be more like pro-3K or Pro-nazzi, not pro business or pro america games(both things are supported or purported to be supported by both sides, so neither is a right or left exclusive thing).....and afaik, there are none of those sorts of games here.

Those reviews are more than a little snarky.

I'm willing to bet you "what is this commie crap" people were perfectly fine when the oh so "back the blue" righties were swarming, mobbing, and stomping on cops in their own failed little riot simply because they couldn't stand losing an election.
