Wouldn't take this game or "gems" like the covid simulator....etc etc....even if I got paid to do so.
========================================

Also to the bot wielding trolls manipulating the ratings ITT: Have enough fun with your silly little score changes yet? ;)
(also since y'all seem to have so much free time, would ya care to come repaint my house? ;D)

I gotta say, I wasn't expecting the comments section to look like this, but it is absolutely hilarious, good for a laugh. Kind of a shame so many people feel threatened by a game giveaway, but at the end of the day it's their loss.

It's quite shameful that GOG ever agreed to sell this pro-terrorism propaganda on its store in the first place.

It's even more shameful that they are now giving it away. Clearly the purpose of the game is that the devs are trying to indoctrinate people to become terrorists in real-life.

And by allowing this game in its platform, GOG is complicit in helping that to happen.

If there is ever a game that should have been banned by GOG's curation, then it's this one.

windows984ever: Not as good as the sequel: Tonight we rooftop Korean.
I'd bet even money that the same people that are basically saying 'LOL it's just a game' would also blow a gasket if someone made a Rooftop Korean game. The only thing funnier might be watching the game press try to go full Tipper Gore and launching into campaigns to have it canceled.

In any even, if someone makes a Rooftop Korean game I would buy that game. What can I say, 'get of my lawn' is not just a meme, it's a way of life. :D

Thank you.

vv221: I love how the hundreds of games propagating conservative (or reactionary) values are never pointed out, but when a single game tries to show that "TINA" is a lie so much people get angry and feel menaced.
Probably because those "conservative (or reactionary) values" that make you feel so angry and menaced are what allowed for the production and commercialization of said games, the ability to purchase and enjoy them because of the unprecedented leisure time of our era, or even the availability of, say, functioning indoor plumbing so you can go to the bathroom during breaks. Whereas this game tries to be cute about glorifying a mostly peaceful idea.

I believe this is "Your terrorists are our freedom fighters" trope in full effect.
Thank You for the free game! :D

pearnon: mostly peaceful idea.
Hah. 'mostly peaceful'. That's cute. Beyond that meme of that the game is throwing fellow gullible LOLshivics into a meat grinder to try and over-thrown the government.

Why? Leave it alone. We need more games where you play as the villain. It's not like games actually effect behavior anyhow, and some dumb low-effort pixel commie simulator isn't going to breed a new wave of terrorism.
In fact, I think they should make a sequel. Do a team-up with the guys who made Door Kickers:AC and get some competetive multiplayer crossover going on.

Besides... it's an absolutely prime oppertunity to hurt some butts by having GOG put up the Police Quest series as the next free giveaway. :)

ReynardFox: How about no, you can keep your commie simulator, Pixel (propaganda) Pushers.

Shame on you GOG for promoting this rot.

Edit: Don't give me this crap about "it's just a game", or "not everything is trying to shove agenda down your throat" when a simple glance at the developer's socials shows them to have a defiantly socialist mantra, constantly sharing biased, political stuff and are on record describing the game as being 'unapologetically leftist'. I mean FFS their most recent retweet is about defunding the police.

This game is undeniably propagandistic and the developers are socialist weasels.

Whatever happened to "Playing as a 'bad' character doesn't make you one"? It's just a game. No one's forcing you to play it.

So much for freedom of expression.

I believe they were referencing/mocking the MSM, who used those exact words to describe things that happened last year.

Great Idea. :)
(though let's be honest, even if the rights holders allowed it, GOG likely wouldn't do it...well unless theyt had to as per their contract with the rights holder, that is)

For some(including me) it is a bit of a sore spot, as per events from last year and this one.....it'd be akin to releasing a holocaust survival board game during or around the end of ww2(i.e. somewhat insensitive/profiting from negative current events/etc).

That said, I don't mind GOG selling it....just find it in poor taste myself, so not gonna buy it/take it.
