I think you mistake Shadow Man for Shadow Warrior (Classic). Shadow Man is still available in Germany.

Bought it when a blue mentioned they'd pull 30 or so titles from the german store,

I spent a lot of time on that yesterday. Not even the hackers around the world can crack fixing that one.

I'm just playing it with the black bars on the side of the screen.
I wouldn't mind a 4:3 aspect ratio of my native resolution to be honest, have to give that a try.

Aside from Infernal Machine, your best bet for TR clones is the mountain of fanmde TR levels created with the editor that came with Chronicles. TRLE.net has plenty of new adventures for Ms. Croft, and even a few that replace her with other people. Puzzle, action, comedy, horror, sci-fi- there's something there for every taste.

Or if you want to track down Indy, there's a third-party installer to get it running on 64-bit Windows:
