REhorror: The good news for Muramasa is that the patch is updated and it works now:
https://help.jastusa.com/en/knowledgebase/article/muramasa-18-patch-for-gog Other than that, I think the other GOG JAST releases patches work (might be wrong).
I just want to get this masterpiece on a DRM-free platform.
Ancient-Red-Dragon: Are we
sure that Muramasa patch works now? A few months ago or so (maybe longer since I'm going solely by memory), someone on this board said he applied the uncensor patch (I don't know if it was the 'updated' patch or not, though) and thought it was working, only to later to discover that it actually wasn't working.
As for getting Tokyo Necro DRM-free, it already is on the JAST store itself, as are all other games there AFAIK...
...which is all the more reason why GOG should ensure that every single JAST game they sell on GOG is always
at least as good as the native JAST version is, meaning 100% uncensored on GOG and with no (sometimes not-working) uncensor patches required.
Otherwise, if GOG versions are not going to be just as good as native JAST versions are right out of the box, then there is literally zero reason to buy JAST games from GOG.
That Muramasa patch should work now, it has been updated since April 2023.
You can try it out.
