SCPM: Hello darkness, my old friend...

Honestly, I didn't actually expect Skyrim and Fallout 3 would come so soon. I'd love for that to happen but:
1. As the leak post mentioned, release dates are subject to change, etc. etc.
2. The other part of the post says Skyrim and Fallout 3 are coming in the Summer, not Spring.
3. GOG knows that we know, and we know that they know that we know, so they could change the dates just to throw us off their trail. D:
No, me neither really. But that doesn't mean I can't create needless hype ;)

Anyway, this lack of release seems to put a nail in the original list's coffin. I never had much faith in it anyway, but missing this date makes it that much less plausible (unless as you suggest Gog have changed things to throw everyone)

The 17th was the day rumoured to be the release date by one less than reliable source.

I agree it's not likely to be today and we'll probably just get some normal releases.. but, you know, hype ;)
Oblivion and New Vegas were confirmed by SPCM's list. Skyrim and Fallout 3 were confirmed by said less reliable source. While I believe New Vegas and Oblivion are coming - I have my doubts about Skyrim at least.

Yes, of course, map is perfectly usable. Interface is not some console horror. Shaders don't hurt the eyes. Water doesn't look plastic. Dragons aren't flying sheep, oh look my widdle arrow took down that big heavily armoured flying fireball. I mean really, when I say Skyrimg/Oblivion are unplayable without mods I don't mean they physically don't work, they are just need to be totally overhauled. Who can forget the bandits with elven armour worth a city.

I'd like to point out that the 17th was NOT part of the original ture_or_false thread. There were no dates at all, just seasons. The date came from some serbian forum, outside of GOG. No date missed so far.

But they could release it as well, since we'd think the date has changed ;)

We don't know. It cited "Internet Friend" - and no dates. That of course doesn't inspire too much confidence, but people can cling to a desperate hope for a few more months (until end of summer in case of Bethesda dump).
