It's irritating but you can work around it by putting your URLs within forum quotes as if they're part of a reply to someone else's post, it is a loophole in the forum software.

Up until late last year, you could bypass the quoting part by using a URL shortener.

Then they banned each URL domain, one after the other and within an hour, as soon as they saw one in use they banned it.

Shows you where their priorities are at and makes a mockery of "we can't do anything about rep".
