I have some questions for a game, but they're all fairly related to each other.

Should I make an individual thread for each one (since question topics are generally for questions looking for a SINGLE answer) or should I just not make it a question thread?

You mean like here O__o? Personally, I would prefer you batch them together in a single topic given you said they are related.
There's no reason to make them separate threads. Personally I'd even find that annoying.
Here we bundle our threads and we unbundle our games. XD

Haha. Touché!

I rather have a long post than a spamming forum but I'm not sure if the majority of the members agree.

I, for one, agree. We have scroll bars and mouse wheels for a reason, dammit! Clicking links to continue reading is f*cking annoying (I hate pagination... yes, I'm looking at you, GOG catalogue).

... well... that wasn't completely related, anyway, since the questions apparently relate to each other, it only makes sense to make a single thread for them.

Thanks for the answers, giving me a better idea so far.

But now I have to settle the final part:

Since I'm going to be requesting a lot of information that might not all be given in one post, should I make this a non-question thread even though I'm asking questions?
^ its not really a matter of life and dead you know ?
its just a thread on a forum
Stone the crows, just ask the questions before this becomes ridiculous....

Well, considering I'm going to use the conclusion here for my entire future experience on GOG, I may as well be thorough now so I don't have to think about it later.

EDIT: Also been nagged enough by forum moderators (not on GOG, fortunately) to prefer to avoid it if possible.

Are these already part of the series of your questions?

GOG.com forum has very lax (almost non-existent) moderation, so you can use your own judgement, most probably you will not be banned or censored either way. :) What many other GOG users seem to wish though is that people don't "revive" very old threads (especially by replying to very old messages), but rather start a new thread about the subject. That's called "necroing" old discussion threads.

Funnily, that is the exact opposite of another (travelling) forum where I used to hang around. There you'd get rebuked or even banned by the moderators for starting a new thread about a subject which was already discussed in some old thread (ie. you should always use the search function to find a similar, earlier, discussion).

Ps. I just noticed you've joined already in 2010. I feel like teaching my father to drive.

derailling
off topic posting
and the thread will end up somewhere else
such ast the digital star wars thread that turned in to stop motions and blade runner laser disc discussions
I loved blade runner. wasn't there some game about that people wanted gog.com to get? :p
(learning off-topicing from the best)
