I recently decided to make myself active on GoG and earn me some good ol' rep,now I mostly worked my ass off in TW2,TW3 and Neverwinter Nights parts and despite me resolving a few problems already, nobody marked their post as solved and so now I understand how actually hard it is to get rep. So to all of you who somehow managed to get that 1k rep damn you people are gods, keep doing what you are doing

A few months ago I was at 1K. Several of us were. None of us did anything to lose it.

The number is totally meaningless, and forgive me, but this is a really stupid thread.

To all of you, unsung heroes of GOG
It's sad to imagine a world without you

Unsung heroes of GOG
I'd like to be part of the world around you

Playing a game by the night time
Watching the world from a game stand

TinyE is just trying to remind you of the first rule of rep club... :P
I support baby Cthulhu's comment, it doesn't matter, many people here don't remember me, but those I shared enough nonsense with do and that's what matters, I've been away for more than a year and last time I checked I was almost +390 rep.

I came back and those close to me dropped by to say hi, that is the only thing mattering here...
Nah, the thread isn't stupid- if someone is new they may very well not realise how meaningless rep has become, and being active and helping solve some questions is a very good thing. You just need to realise your're earning real reputation this way, as in recognition from the fellow users, and not "rep points".

As for "rep" I'd really like for it to be totally removed. As established, it's meaningless, there are some great people here with low or even negative rep, and nasty ones with 1000+. But as long as it's here it invites trolling by downvoting, downvotng someone instead of actually discussing stuff, and introduces a unnecessary "score" to forum activity. And cofuses new users, who think it does matter. Throw it out the airlock I say.

The thread is about rep points Licurg, not restraining orders.

I would have been more amazed if you wrote "8000" instead.
