Been a while since I posted one of these but I felt it was again time (those of you who have been here a long time will remember I'm sure). Between those that have passed on and those that have simply left, I figure the forum could do with a little unified thing.

Please simply toast in the honour and memory of those no longer with us - be it merely due to distance, differences, departure or death - in all facets of all our lives.

To you and yours, and all those who are absent whatever reason... To absent friends!

RIP Grandmother. Passed April of this year (91). It was the first time I saw some of my family members cry.

I lost a few close people in my life over the past year, but the wisdom and memories they left me will certainly carry on.

And to all absent friends on this forum, and those that I haven’t kept in touch with between real life obligations and spending most of my free time playing games rather than on the forums - here’s to you as well.

As I sit here on this New Year’s Eve, I raise my bottle of Jim Beam and toast to you all. I’m not that great with words, but I hope you all are well and have a blessed new year, filled with joy and happiness, and of course, gaming!

Speaking of absent friends, does anyone know what became of brother Orkhepaj? I haven't seen him post in a long time.

Did he get banned? Or did he just leave the GOG forum on his own?

This place is much more boring and much less spicy without him around IMO. I miss that guy a lot.

On GOG: GamezRanker, if you read this, come back, please. Forum is not the same without you.

On Steam: LeLobster, wherever you are, we miss you. ;(

Missing Momo1991! She just made the community a nicer place for everyone. All the best Momo.

He always had some fun stories about his bed & breakfast place, I enjoyed those.

And one to Fairfox, who has been bullied until she left the forum.

Fairwell to some of the people that stopped talking to me. I don't know if it's my fault or what, but I feel like I lost people I could relate to who didn't want to give back.

As for the people on this forum, y'all are slacking in interesting discussion and anyone wondering why I disappear for days at a time, that's because I only have so many witty remarks and insight to provide. Given some of the posts here, I guess those halcyon days are over.

Though I do love some of y'all and hope you stick around.
