Imagine the anger on people's faces who paid full price for the season pass which was around $20 when it first came out.
Now it's free.

Imagine the anger when I spent more on guild wars 2 only for them to make the extras I`d gained free in game mere months after.
Imagine the anger when Botanicula went straight into Humblebundle despite lots of us having paid full price pre-order to support the devs.
Just teasing (well, the first did get my goat a tad, but mostly due to their silly over price in EU..), the latter I didn`t mind & the kind folks at GOG gave us all Witcher for free because of that, which they had no reason to do so 8D
I do get that those that paid full price may seem ripped, but as others`ve said, sooner or later it`d probably end up in a bundle.
Curious if they have more stuff inc` for the game or it`s just a way to sell the base game, as I imagine it`s old(ish) news these days
Either way, the game does seem funky & it`ll get more folks in to keep the games life going even longer (glances at Crysis pvp...*tumbleweed*)

You can have MP without having to be on line. Sybil does it all the time.

So um... You paid full price to support the devs and then got angry that other people who did not want to support the devs as much got the game cheaper? Where on earth is the logic in that?

I didn`t mind at all, Botanicula was worth every penny, it still gets played often :D

sasuke12: Imagine the anger on people's faces who paid full price for the season pass which was around $20 when it first came out.
Now it's free.
skeletonbow: Imagine the anger of people that paid for Torchlight, or The Witcher, or any other games GOG has given away for free (or any company has given away for free) over time, which people paid money for up until that point. :) Now it's free.
Lots of things we buy in the world of gaming end up eventually being given away for free either temporarily or permanently at some point. If we paid for it and we enjoyed it and felt we got our money's worth - then well.. we did. The time to be upset IMHO is not when something like this is given away to others for free, but rather when we've spent our money on it and did not feel that we got our money's worth for what we paid.
Everyone has their own perspective on how to view such things though I guess, and outrage/anger is certainly an option but not the one I'd personally choose. :)
Base Game
with DLC Packs as follows.
DLC Pack 1: Expedition Featuring three all new maps: Swamplands, Runoff and Wargames, set on new worlds across the Frontier.
DLC Pack 2: Frontier's Edge Featuring three all new maps: Dig Site, Export and Haven, on the far reaches of the Frontier.
DLC Pack 3: IMC Rising Featuring three all-new maps: Zone 18, Backwater and Sandtrap, on decommissioned bases and hidden colonies throughout the Frontier.
Now you can no longer imagine how they feel because they feel it now!
Going to grab two of these. Good for multiplayer. :)

Grab it while it's hot. Limited time!
Too bad GOG can't get this Origin title yet. It might be a few years later before it's DRM free.
Get it now, Thank me later.
Happy Xmas Goggers!

TrueDosGamer: Titan Deluxe now selling on Amazon for $5 with Free DLC!
<snip>
Going to grab two of these. Good for multiplayer. :)
It's ONLY multiplayer. No single player/story campaign, you probably can't host your own games so you rely on a separate server. <snip>

No, the game is so dead they are just trying to move more copies to maybe salvage the game. Evolve, TitanFall; They are large/expensive MP only games, and effectively dead a few months after launch. They may boost up in players for a little while after new content/DLC is released, but then return to previous levels.
Not to mention Origin DRM... ugg... no thanks.

I tried this game when it was on Origin's free Game Time. It's exactly the kind of game I suck at. So, I sucked at it for a couple hours and that was it. Not worth even $5 to me.
