Yesterday Titan Quest: Immortal Throne recieved an update and a Beta Patch to implement a new Multiplayer system since GameSpy is dead. It is still in Beta (anybody who owns the game on steam can try it out), but one of the developers said that the plan is to bring it to GoG aswell once the patch is final :)

I thought this might be worth spreading. I find it pretty great they continue support this game after THQ died and it was basicly finished.

The developer answered that question atleast somewhat:

Q: "Are you really going to sell the patch, even to people who already own the game?"

A: "The problem is we dont know who owns a legit copy of the game or not. I will try to track down old CD Keys and make it possible to activate them on Steam or through our support. We will continue to investigate. Generally the patch is free."

I read that but as a dedicated DRM-free user I won't be playing it on steam. EVER!!!
I'd love to be able to redeem my Steam copy of bosom quest here on GOG.

Smannesman: copy of bosom
Can I sample from your bosom? 'Cause sometimes I suffer from distractions like why does GOG cause things like tornadoes and train wrecks ;P
CTD all the way! Huzaaaah!
Awesome exciting news! This is one of my "bigger wants" to show up here.

Good to hear the patch is in Beta as well. Did they give any idea of a timeframe? This *seems* like it may be sooner rather than later (though I know multiplayer can have a lot of glitches to hash out).
It's about time. My disc is melting with overuse.

Wait.... after paying for being a beta tester this is the new thing? Selling patches?!?So after you bought a game and realised that it`s a buggy mess, they want you now to buy the patches that make a game playable?!?

If you own the game on steam you can just install the patch. You don't need to pay for it. What he means is that it is currently only available to steam users. When he says "buy the patch" he means buy the game again on steam.

I have the boxed version.
This has also been stated on GoG in early February...

Nice. Here's hoping that they will allow something similar to Red Faction: Guerrilla and will give a Steam (or even a GOG key) to those who own the game on GamersGate or from retail.
Didn't know about it, sorry.
