tinyE: You don't know who Samus Aran is!?

OUT! GET OUT!

And leave your Gamers Card here!
Man, you americans sure are big on all that NES stuff. At least I assume it's somehow connected, going by your previous post. I never played any NES games, or owned anything Nintendo, so it's all greek (well, japanese really) to me. I've been a PC gamer all my life.

Also, did you at least get my "do you have a magic ring" refrence eariler? If not, don't be to hasty to relive me of my Gamer Card.

NovumZ: Missed ya!
I say don't change anything be yourself unless being yourself means changing back (which is unlikely)

tinyE: Fuck! There goes that idea!
You Grenadiers, you kill me.

EBToriginal: Look at it this way. Lovecraft is dead and all his work is in the public domain, so there is no way for you to materially support an old dead racist.

I thought the whole deal was that you WERE getting rid of rep. Just one rep at a time.

tinyE: Like I posted earlier, it's a particularly sensitive subject for me given the election. Once all this crap is behind us and this National scare is over (knock on wood) I might lighten up.

As for my current avatar, I gotta be honest, I'm loving it. :P I keep having flashbacks to the countless hours I spent with the original Metroid in high school, and I'm looking so forward to the NES MINI coming out next week, seeing the original on my TV.

On that note, a great movie could be made about Samus. A whole series of the could. She could be a female Riddick. It's a wasted opportunity if you ask me.
You need to play Axiom Verge if you have not.
Forgot to add, I don't like his new avatar, it makes me itch around the pubis region.

Europians got a series of computer brands Americans got a series of consoles and Japan got a series of both. I mean yeah there were commodore users here in the states and there were (generally technically inept, which is unforgivable with a superior standard like PAL) consoles in europe, but that seems to be how that cookie crumbled. Depending on your choice of genres one or the other would be far superior to the other.

There is no depending, NES was crap. :P

But it was the crap that I grew up with and it will always be a part of me. :D

You think the NES was crap, but look at what the computers had for platformers. Most of the home computer brands at the time would be technologically incapable of metroid. or zelda or mario 3.

It comes out on the 11th. Took off of work to make sure I secure one.

I'm gonna have to ask for YOUR gamer card, pal.

I put a bunch of hours into Jet Boot Jack on my C64/128. Yeah, hardly nobody seems to know about it, but it was about as good as any NES platformer. Mario Bros. included.
