It contained dormant DRM in the multiplayer mode, despite it being offline for years, people clicked on it anyway and proceeded to complain... as they do. We will never get it back. :(

I found out about Lovecraft's politics. While that doesn't ruin his contributions to the literary world, and I would never condemn anyone for being a fan of his, I personally don't want to be carrying that flag around, especially now, in light of tomorrow's election.

Maybe I'll lighten up after this whole mess is over, but at this moment it is just way too scary.

Bradley scares a lot of us. Is it time for the tri-monthly necromancing of "The Official TinyE Appreciation Thread"?!

Y'know, what I find both ironic and somewhat hilarious about all of this is that tinyE doesn't ask for all the attention he gets and often hates it, but when he complains about it, it only fuels people to cheer him on more, to the point that he's basically become the forum mascot.

I'm not really sure what the big deal is.
If you dig deep enough, there's a problem with everybody. I'm sure even Mr. Rogers had some nasty part of his past that nobody knew about which could be found if you looked into him enough. If one opinion of Lovecraft is enough to make you cringe at anything remotely related to the guy, I could take 5 of your favorite people and ruin them for you forever.
Even if you can't accept that, you still weren't flying a "Lovecraft" flag or anything. You just had a pixelated Cthulu avatar from some unrelated mobile game. Cthulu is such a well-known pop culture character by now that's been used in so many different things, you can't really say he's 100% related to Lovecraft anymore.

I don't mind the attention, but I don't want this much. If I was the only one in the forum I guess the occasional thread about me would be fine, but there are a lot of other people here, 90% of whom are more productive forum members than I am. :D

I don't think being the most active in any online forum, even if they are really funny, should ever be considered as good thing. :P

Meh, it's better than a lot of alternatives. And yeah, you're the cuddly tentacled mascot of the GOG forums, like it or not. (Although now I'm getting creepy tentacle-porn vibes for some reason...)

At least it livens up the joint.

To be fair, the forum isn't exactly so bustling with activity that being the most active would imply more than showing up more or less daily to make a couple of posts. By todays standards, and how much time people waste on facebook, twitter and whatever else, that's hardly anything.
